I’ll start off by saying that the sandwiches I get from this location are typically always good. I recently went here and took the drive-thru. When I got to the window and paid for my sandwich, the woman (who I believe to be the manager) that helped me took my card and stuck it in the reader, like anyone would. When the tip prompt came up, she clicked something without asking me or telling me to choose a tip myself. I figured she had just skipped the tip, since that was what a different worker had done for me a time before. She handed me my sandwich and card with a receipt and told me to have a good day. When I looked at the receipt, and it turns out she added a 20% tip, an extra $2. Turned my already $11.50 sandwich into a $13.50 sandwich. I do not appreciate that. It’s rather rude to the customer to dictate what tip they give you. I believe workers at this location are payed a minimum of $14/hr, and if the woman that charged me a tip was the manager, I’m sure she’s making much more than that. It is absolutely unreasonable to expect a tip (nor dictate a tip) for doing the bare minimum that’s required of you and simply making a sandwich. When they took my card for payment, wasn't told the total and later realized as I’m on my way home, they charged me for a footlong. On top of that, my sandwich was made with all the wrong toppings.
