ALDI — Local services in Martinsville

Prices are great, store is clean. My only frustration is that I spend $360 on groceries with much of it being fresh produce and the cashiers just throw it in the cart. I take time to place heavy stuff first and fresh or easily broken stuff on last, but they grab and toss. I had a watermelon rolled off the belt over the scanner and then let go of to drop into the cart. I have a package of strawberries, bag of cherries and a couple of bags of fresh veggies with small cans of food or other heavier items just tossed on them. Zucchinis and onions gouged...you get the point. I respect efficiency but when every piece of produce purchased comes home bruised or crushed, your efficiency has cost me money. This isnt everyone, no feedback should be taken in a blanket statement way, but managers should be paying attention. I likely wont be back. A few extra dollars to ensure our food doesn't get destroyed or spoil do to poor handling...

Up until now i have shopped at Aldi every Sunday. Today I placed an order online for delivery at 5:25, it is now 8:31 and I have not gotten my order, tonight's dinner was in that order, and now after spending 80 dollars plus delivery to have here by 7, I am having to spend almost 40 more to order food from somewhere that will deliver. I never got a message that our order wasnt coming, it still shows in progress and THAT fred has been shopping my order for 2 hours now. Since yall wont list your phone number, I could net reach the store when u called customer service. At this point I want my money back, something should have been sent to me saying we wouldn't get out order or it was delayed and now the store has been closed for 35 mins. Unacceptable. I will not be shopping there again, and hope this company doesn't refund...

Usually I don't how much of an issue with aldis but the prices are beginning to look like other grocery stores and I still have to bring my own bags and then bag items myself ..i need my husband to drive us lately and yesterday he shop with me. The lane was closed beside him and was being yelled at by another cashier to go to the other lane thay was closed he was waiting for me to return to the lane because I had forgot something then thr young boy yells unload now!! I'm not sure where he learned his manners.. but this is no way to talk to your elders or anyone for that matter the whole attitude was a turn off I believe I can shop and have my bags bags filled at foodloin they even offer to carry bags to the car for needed people.. kindness and the way you talk to others...
