I will start by saying I understand many places are short staffed. I am patient when I go out because of this. I called in my order ahead and showed up at the time given to me. Upon arrival they told me it wasn't done yet. Not a problem because things happen, so I sit and wait. They told me it would be ready in 10 minutes. They checked and not done yet, but ok I can understand so I wait. 10 minutes later they said they will check and brought back food. They asked what I ordered again, but nope its not ready because this order didn't have any vegetables. I told them it wasn't a big deal and I would take it, but nope they can't do that and placed my order for the third time. By now I was getting pretty hungry watching everyone come and go getting their orders. The person behind the counter again asks me what I ordered and I again tell the same thing. By this time I would normally get angry, but again I know were all short staffed so I calmy said alright. They go in the back to check and again come out and tell me it will be about ten minutes. I sit there waiting and again 10 minutes pass with no food, and again the same people ask me what I ordered. They again go in the back and come back saying it's not ready, and this process continues until 50 minutes after my scheduled pick up time. To make my visit even better I got to listen to an off duty staff member quite loudly drop F bomb after F bomb in his loud discussion to his date. How do I know he was a staff member? I could hear him! I politely informed the counter person I will never be back after finally getting my food. You never know who you have visiting your establishment, and being somebody myself who swears I at least don't do it in front of my customers (off...
Read moreWe decided to eat here when my future stepson was getting ready to leave for the Air Force, this was a place he enjoyed as well as it was somewhere that we, meaning myself, fiance and about 10 others could go, have a good time, be seated somewhere comfortably instead of connecting however many small tables together as u usually see with other restaurants trying to accommodate a large group and enjoy a great meal with a lil entertainment. The employees here were very courteous, more than accommodating, the food was delicious and we had a great time. The only reason I'm giving this Review 4 stars instead of 5, comes down to something in which myself including a lot of other people has frustratingly dealt with on more than one occasion, that is if u have eaten out at a restaurant before, trying to get your server or a lot of times just anyone who works at the establishment u are visiting, to refill your drink. I don't know what it is, but everytime I go out to eat and right as I've almost finished my drink and need a refill, my server somehow magically knows and has disappeared lol. It happens every time, the server will be around your table and will be so accommodating and waiting on u hand and foot, that u will be amazed at how awesome the service is. That is, right up until the moment your cup gets ready to run out of drink and in that split second, it's a ghost town and there isn't a server to be found anywhere lol That was the probelm the group I was with had and luckily it was the only problem. Other than that, everything was perfect, the food was great and the Chef did an Amazing job cooking our food and making us feel welcomed as well as he was definitely skilled at what he does at that...
Read moreSo, I ordered on sushi Thursday at 430p, when they reopen for dinner. I'm immunosuppressed, so I don't eat inside restaurants. So, I ordered online. My order was confirmed at 445p.
I received my order at 550p. They had allowed all my hot food to sit for the entire time, claiming they were waiting on sushi. But meanwhile... The hot food got cold. The steak ended up rubbery, not to even start on the shrimp. Ever had cooked shrimp that you've allowed to go cold? My gyoza was so cold that they remade it for me. My soup was so cold that they gave me new. All in all... I didn't get to eat for two hours after the order. Also, my fiancée wouldn't even have his remade because who knows how long that would take?
And here's the kicker, you can tell which sushi roll was made first, because they were allowed to get actually warm.
So, now I have Luke warm food that was supposed to be hot and Luke warm food that was supposed to be cold and it's falling apart. Additionally, my spider roll, the shrimp inside, that was fried, wasn't even peeled. So it was inedible.
I paid $60 for $5 gyoza and some soup. This is absolutely absurd. If you can't do take out right, don't do it. $60 just gone. Just sad. Really sad. Two hours of my life for a poor meal I paid a fortune for.
Update: And your food mad me sick for nearly 36 hours. So, not only have you ruined your restaurant for me. You've come real close to ruining sushi...
