VS Games LLC — Local services in Martinsville

I really love this store! I come by here when I have a few extra dollars and want to get some Magic the Gathering cards (MTG) or check out the newest video games that they put out in the shelves. They seem to have a good selection of new ones each week which is great. People seem to come here to buy a lot of Pokemon cards too. I come here to play Friday Night Magic (FNM) or just hang out which they seem ok with. I really want to join the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) game but I live in Rocky Mount and can’t get to the store as much as I would like. They also seem to be the cheapest in the area.

Very clean, very friendly, and very helpful. I was given about $10 worth of cards for my deck by the owner just for coming here. Good selection of videogames and items, but I sat at the register to buy over $50 worth of stuff for 15 minutes with both employees sitting right behind me, and they never acknowledged me and I never got to purchase my items I wanted. Do better. You should shop at Marvel Freaks instead. The response to my view is just a lie. I was addressed when I walked in yes but that wasn't the issue I had, I stood at the counter ready to pay for several minutes and was never addressed, and it was not "busy" there were 4 people sitting at a table chatting, no one was playing magic or even talking about magic, I heard chat about Jeffrey Epsteins list more than magic. I'm heavily disappointed, and attacking your customers in a reply to their review looks just as ugly. Never shop here if you want a nice employee base, Marvel Freaks would never treat...

Edit: Owner came back to me with a nice and well thought out reply that showed that the people who work at that store do care a lot about their customer experiences. Just for that alone, I'm bumping up my score mainly just because they were right, it was mainly a mistake. I should've waited to actually go into the store before posting a negative review because I'm sure once I'm able to walk into the store, it'll be just as great as the old location or even better.
