Only one cashier.. line backed up going down the aisle behind us.. one cashier was sweeping and ignored the line it took over 10 min before a manager would come from the office and still took another 8 min before another register opened and the employee that was sweeping was so slow when the register opened and she still would not look at all the people waiting and kept sweeping around her register and playing with her glasses.. so many people were very angry talking about the employee sweeping and how long it took the manager to come out of the office and her not opening a register for her to work also.. We all felt bad for the male employee and how stressful it must be for him with no one helping him while the line kept getting longer going down the aisle more than half way... That was very rude and both the manager and the female employee we're lacking in customer service and just rudeness for them both not even looking at us all.. They both need extra more professional training or let go due to lack of customer service and not caring about the customers or the male employee by himself with only one register he was trying very hard and it was stressful since he had to listen to every customer complaining and getting very frustrated but he managed and when he called for backup 4 times and it took over 10 minutes and the one employee just kept sweeping and not backing him up by opening the register that she was sweeping around all while ignoring us the customers and I know got a fact that she could hear all the customers asking why won't she help the male who was working on his register and mad at the manager and when she finally came out of the office most likely sitting on her big fat behind she still wouldn't get on a register to get all of us customers checked out .. That was very frustrating and all the customers were furiated when the manager and and other female register girl we're not even trying to help and kept ignoring all of us and I know they could hear all of us customers.. some of them did put there stuff down and left... They need extra training and/ or they need to be relieved of their jobs.. RIDICULOUS AND RUDE NO WORK ETHIC AT ALL NO MANNERS NO O CURTOUSY AT ALL.. RUDE RUDE...
Read moreI've been using this DT for years since it's the closest to my home. I've watched it fall hard recently since the manager left, so they finally hire someone new. In-between this new hire manager comes a manager to help get it back together, which she did a great job cleaning it up. Now we have someone who has 0 qualifications with customer service! My toddler was wearing a mask she found in the toy area, but I told her she couldn't have it, so when I took it off this "new" manager tells me she needs it so it can be put in with defectives, and that was it. Also, she came across rude. So, I turned around and told her maybe she should throw all of the toys away since that's what kids do. She lies to my face, talks over me and says it's because there's no tag. Lol it's DT, ITS A DOLLAR! Continues to talk unprofessionally over me, saying she never said what I think she meant, NOPE but she was never clear, so we made a scene. The problem is, her attitude towards customers, not kindly telling me, "I'm sorry, the mask needs to be sanitized, so if you could..." OR maybe not saying anything at all would have been best. She came across as if she hates her job and people. But, I dont have a snotty kid, and my 3 year old is always good and not rambunctious even a little bit. Read moreThis morning. I want to go buy a mirror and sunglasses. And I'm withdrawing $50. The older black lady up front Was extremely prejudiced towards me. Her name starts with an A and shes in her 60s...She was yelling at me saying I don't have $50 to give you, oh i dont have $50 in the register! She yelling i thought she was joking but she was being rude and yelling at me irately .and I told her you know, you have to get the manager. The manager will Check., she's not talking to me like a normal person. She's yelling at me saying what if the manager doesn't have any money in the bank. And I'm like, then. I'll go to another store and then she goes on saying I don't have to give you the money. I don't have to give you anything And that's when I said I'm sorry saying like yo what if my mom needs heart medication, I have to go buy it. She says well, you're gonna have to go buy it somewhere else is like what on earth and um. Yeah, it's messed up to do that to somebody yell at them. And I mean, talk. Crazy with me.
