Exceptional Service from Bartender Cesar at Pedro’s! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Pedro’s in Fort Walton Beach, and I must say that the highlight of my evening was the outstanding service provided by bartender Cesar. From the moment I approached the bar, Cesar’s warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. Cesar is a true master of his craft. He has an impressive knowledge of cocktails and spirits, and his recommendations were spot-on. I asked for a cocktail that was refreshing and unique, and he crafted the most delicious drink I’ve ever had. It was clear that he puts a lot of thought and care into each creation. What truly sets Cesar apart is his genuine passion for hospitality. He took the time to chat with me and other patrons, ensuring everyone felt valued and attended to. Despite the bar being busy, he was incredibly attentive and efficient, never missing a beat. Cesar’s friendly personality and exceptional skills behind the bar made my experience at Pedro’s unforgettable. If you’re in Fort Walton Beach, I highly recommend stopping by Pedro’s and asking for Cesar. You won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Cesar, for making my visit to Pedro’s such a memorable one. I’ll definitely be back

Beautiful place to dine in! Honestly there probably isn’t a cleaner building in Fort Walton Beach! In fact, a manager was walking around cleaning windows while we dined (photo included). We are at a Monday at 11:15am because we figured seating and service would be a breeze. We were seated immediately but waited far too long to order drinks and food. To be fair, the service was very friendly and wonderful so we were not upset. The food wasn’t exceptional. It was good; right on par with Peppers I’d say. I eat vegetarian and there were only 4 vegetarian options on their huge menu. I opened for the veggie fajitas, they only brought two tiny flour tortillas which was not sufficient. The salsa has great flavor, it’s very thin and runny but that didn’t bother me, it tasted good! Overall the inside is beautiful with plenty of seating. I really should rate it three stars for the food truly being nothing special but the atmosphere, cleanliness and nice service are hard to find in FWB so 4 stars is fair. Overall we had a nice experience and I will dine in again!

Was excited to try this place. First, the atmosphere and the way they decorated is “upscale” Mexican. Highs: the chicken from the fajitas was delicious and the food was fresh. Margarita was ok. Lows: The steak on my fajitas was bland and parts were not eventually cut and chewy. Server was all over the place and really didn’t have a system going. I ordered pineapple jalapeño margarita with no jalapeño and she asked “frozen or on the rocks”. I said frozen but when I got it, it was on the rocks with jalapeño. She said “oh, sorry I guess the don’t have that option!” Well, I ordered another drink Mango margarita and then also ordered food. The Mango margarita took forever to come out. My company received her food and we had to send it back because it was wrong. She also got her food way ahead of time and we sat waiting on mine for a good little bit. *It’s day 10 of them being open hopefully, they will work out the kinks. $63 bill for two people was a good price considering we both had entree and margarita.

Food is very fresh and delicious! Will try Horchata next time as machine was broke. I really wanted to take a portion of a star away because if I didnt speak a little Spanish, our order may not have been right. But I didn't think that deserved a full star loss. Their wait staff need to improve their English before waiting on only English speaking customers. This is the reason for incorrect orders. Customers they speak even a little Spanish will do fine. As a suggestion to customers, don't be hesitant to ask for a English fluent waiter. But this is not in any way reflective of the level of service. Service was wonderful, food was wonderful. The ones who need to improve English need to immerse themselves in this American culture and insist on everyone speaking English around them until they get better. That is the only true way to become fluent. But overall, we LOVE this place. BTW, inside is beautiful and classy! Update:. Just had to remove all stars given on an earlier trip. 2nd trip there was horrible. Started with the salsa was totally different this trip. When we asked about it the manager checked into it and told us that the girl "forgot" to add the fresh tomatoes and other stuff but did add extra jalapenos which is why it was soooo...HOT! Next. The Horchata came out brown. Looked like iced coffee and tasted terrible. Absolutely did not taste like any Horchata I have ever had or made. It was nasty. Then came the appetizer. The exact one that we ordered first trip and was devine. This one was overcooked, greasy, nasty tasting and I guarantee it was fried in rancid oil as that was what it tasted like. They forgot the sauces etc, etc.....This was it for us. Couldn't eat salsa and chips, couldn't drink Horchata and couldn't eat appetizer. We didn't dare try a meal this time. We just left and went to another restaurant for our meal. So...

Today was the first bad day that I have ever had at this location. No one was in the restaurant and we figured, that's perfect, we are the only ones here, everything should be great. We planned on eating several tacos and try a few different variation. Our server dropped off the food and drinks after we ordered and never came back to check on us at all until she came to bring the check at which point we were so put off that we just chose to take the check and go. My wife and I both needed refilled for our drinks while we were eating however, she never showed up. Then she asked us if we wanted drinks to go when she brought the check. We needed drink with our meal but she never came back to find out if we needed anything or check to see if our food was good or anything else. She dropped the food off and went over to a table, started folding silverware and napkins, and looking at her phone, and never came back to us at all. The only other issue today was, the chicken in the chicken tacos was very dry. It was hot, but it was dry. Our server was Marry Ann today. She was nice as far as for sitting us down but she was not attentive at all. She was an absentee server. Me and my wife will go back again because, as I said, this was the only bad day out of the many days that we have gone to...

I had very high expectations coming in as I was recommended by many in the area to visit since it's brand new! Since I moved back into the area a few months ago I haven't tried a lot of the newer places around since I didn't know if it was just for the hype or not.. and I'll have to say this place is only about hype. I came in and asked for the margarita special on happy hour and thought I was given that just to see at the end of the lunch that I wasn't. When I asked about why I was charged he said I didn't order it when I knew I specifically did. The margaritas also weren't that great as they were they their batch made margaritas with water and tequila. Also, the food wasn't that great I would've been more satisfied going to the mom and pop Mexican restaurants around the town then this overpriced Tex mex I could offer. Honestly Tijuana flats and chipotle had more flavor then the tacos, Chile Reno and chicken quesadilla I ordered... sad to say I would've been impressed with the place if they had better food/ clarification on the ordering on the happy hour special but they didn't. I'm giving them a star for how the place was decorated nicely and was clean and a star for the food being edible. Other then that I will not be returning and I'll definitely won't recommend this place to go...
