Krystal — Restaurant in Mary Esther

Making a food run for work and i work a night shift so i was going to order for 6 people i pulled into this drive thru cause i saw it was open, saw the sign about military discount, and there’s no one in line so it was a perfect pick in my eyes, so i ask to order the party pack and the drive thru lady complains that I’m ordering too much and was rude about how long it was going to take for her to get that many ready. I’m not in a hurry cause the longer my food run is the longer I’m away from work so I’m cool with it and i replied “that’s fine I’m in no rush and I’m sorry for the big order...” cuts me off with a raised voice and she then complains to me that i shouldn’t be ordering like that so late at night, while still at the drive thru speaker and i was super surprised at what was going on. I wasn’t angry about it, i didn’t say a word, and she’s just saying that she’s going to refuse to put my order in and that i should be considerate and something along those lines at this point I’ve blocked her out, cause i don’t like to get angry or riled up for small things so i tell her “that’s fine just cancel the order please I’ll just head on to the next drive thru” I’m rolling up my window as i start driving, and she’s still complaining over the speaker. I have never eaten Krystal’s in my life, my co-workers just wanted something new from our usual food runs, and this place was opened so i decided to stop, but after that experience i don’t think i could ever give this place a...

This was my first time eating at Krystals. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews before I came here. The lady working the window was pleasant enough, but she seemed really overwhelmed. That is the only thing that was not absolutely terrible about this place. I got a sampling of many of their different offerings. I can honestly say that they were all absolutely terrible. Terrible flavor, terrible texture, terrible aftertaste that you can't get rid of. I only ate a small portion of each of the different foods because I could not force myself to eat anymore. I threw most of the food away. I didn't even make it to the car before I started vomiting. I think everything I ate came back up. This is truly one of the worst places I have ever eaten at. Worst $45 I ever spent.

Update: Tried reaching out to Krystal's as per their request in their response to my review. It has been several months now, and they have still not responded in any way. Not sure why they left an owners response, when they had no intention of responding when I reached out to them. I guess they just thought it would look good on the review if they tried to show that they would follow up a bad review. But they have done nothing since their...

UPDATE: Ive never actually been excited to update a negative review but here we definitely are! I havent eaten here in a year because the food was always awful every visit. The bread once was stale and hard, rarely pickles, not warm or fresh. So glad I decided to come back by. This was probably the best Krytals Ive had in years ANYWHERE. What a difference. ALL of the burgers were steamy and fresh. Plenty of pickles and onions and mustard. Absolutely gold. I know Im a weirdo but Krystal has always been a favorite and this was a very pleasant surprise. Also, the woman working the window was amazing. Im use to people acting like youre bothering them and disturbing their day off at this location. She was super sweet and friendly. Not sure if this is new management, new owner or full new staff but whatever the change keep it up!

previous negative review. I ordered 12 with cheese. I got 12 mix matched random burgers. Some had cheese, some didn't, only 3 had mustard and one of those had no cheese either. NONE had pickles. How does this...
