My first visit to Cedar Village Dentistry was a good experience. The office in general had a welcoming feel. My dental hygienist, KelseyâŚwith the curly hair, did a fantastic job with caring for my sensitive teeth. She was capable and offered explanations for everything she did. Dr. Longo was kind and caring and made me feel at ease. He took the time to answer all my questions. I was comfortable in that dental setting and that is a âbig dealâ for me. I can recommend Cedar Village Dentistry if you are looking for dental care in the Mason area.
Had another visit with the team at Cedar Village Dentistry. And it was another good experience. Kelcie (sp?) is a thorough hygienist. My teeth feel so clean when I leave. It is a comfortable setting. The team all seem truly relaxed and send out a good vibe. I appreciate this comfortable setting.
October 31, 2023 Another visit to Cedar Village DentistryâŚanother good experience. Got to meet the new dentist Dr. McDavid, my first female dentist. I have to say she was kind, caring and made me feel at ease. I appreciate all the staff I interacted with for their professionalism and kindness. I have a sensitive bunch of teeth and from Kelcie, my hygienist to the dentist everyone was considerate of my condition.
Highly recommend Cedar Village Dentistry if you need dental care.
November 2024 Great visit with Kelcie (my hygenist) and Dr. Longo. Kelcie is always so thorough with cleaning my teeth. I do greatly appreciate the care she shows because i have extremely sensitive teeth, especially this visit because i had sinus congestion and a slight headache. Thank you Kelcie for your professional care and your friendly mannerâŚalways a pleasure to see you. And great to see you Dr. Longo, a truly capable and kind dentist. You both make the experience so much better!

Read moreI had a cavity filled approximately 2.5 years ago at Cedar Village Dentistry. Unfortunately, the filling was not completed correctly, which resulted in ongoing discomfort. About a year after the procedure, I returned to the office and informed the team that I was still experiencing issues. At that time, the doctor adjusted my bite, which provided slight relief, but did not resolve the core issue related to the filling itself.
During a recent visit, it was discovered that there is a microscopic gap due to the filling not being properly sealed â an error acknowledged by the dentist. However, I was informed that the office could not cover the cost of correcting the issue because the two-year warranty period had expired.
While I understand policies are in place for a reason, I did bring this concern to the practice within the two-year window and communicated that something felt wrong with the original filling. At the time, only a bite adjustment was made, and the actual problem was not addressed. Itâs disappointing that, despite admitting the original work was not properly done, the resolution was declined due to a technicality in timing.
I want to be clear that the staff, including the dentists and hygienists, have always been professional and courteous, and Iâve appreciated their care. My concern lies primarily with how the situation was handled by Stephany, the practice director. The overall experience felt inconsistent with the high level of patient care that Iâve otherwise received from the clinical team.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve how similar situations are addressed in the future â especially when the issue stems from a recognized oversight in the...
Read moreI have never seen a dental office is so confused or not familiar with the dental insurance. There are three annoying experiences I had with Cedar Village Dentistry. The year 2023, is the 1st time I visited this office as a new patient with Aetna Dental Insurance, they told me they are not within the network even though when I made my appointment made sure if they were, so I had to pay for the just cleaning service before I left the office that was surprising to me. After I checked the my dental insurance and made sure that the dentist was in the network. They refund me about 8 weeks later. After they charged me for just teeth cleaning service, I had to cancel my husband's appointment. later after I talked to the insurance, I rescheduled my husband's appointment, I thought within network issue was resolved, but a few month later I received their invoice, it took me several time to call / leave msg, no response to resolve. Finally they corrected. Due to insurance within network issue, I made sure with them if they are definitely within network for Cigna dental , they told me "YES", so during the benefits enrollment time end of 2023, I switched from Aetna Dental to Cigna Dental. Early 2024, I visited the office again for just teeth cleaning, I thought after 2023 all time I spent with them and the insurance, I should be good. But, again, I received invoice from them.
I am done with Cedar Village Dentistry now, I switched to another dentist office which they told me confidently they are within the network of Cigna Dental, my husband and I had a few services with new dentist, never had any billing issues.
I never need to spend...
