This has been my favorite Mexican Restaurant in our areas for many years, my family eat here at least 2-3 times a month because we love the atmosphere, the salsa and chips, food, service and of course the Margaritas, we have never had a bad experience until last night and I was actually shocked by the experience. Everything was great except for the server. Iāve never seen her there before and she was rude to us the entire time we were there, for absolutely no reason.. Then, she was also rude at checkout, thatās when I decided I wasnāt giving her a tip, she acted like she didnāt want to be there, she never addressed us or greeted us, she took our drink order then slung it on the table, she was just RUDE. Iāve been a server before and yes I know they work for tips and I know it can be mentally and physically taxing, I get that, but, that doesnāt mean you treat your customer rude, nor am I going to tip someone for being rude to me. I paid the bill then we had walked out into the parking lot to leave, I heard someone saying maāam, maāam, I turned around and it was our server screaming I work for my tips and you didnāt tip me, I replied to her, if she were to be more kind and friendly she would have gotten a nice tip from us, she started speaking in Spanish so I just continued to my car. . However, tonight we had for the 1st time a server called Kevin maybe? - most awful experience ever - young guy, latin, with VERY tight shirt, super cocky and arrogant, with way too much attitude to be a server - we are also of latin descency, so i believe it is not discriminatory coming from us: we said 'hi' to him in Spanish, and he said in English 'I don't speak Spanish'.. the way he acted and said it made us feel super bad, and immediately we switched to correct and proper English and profusely apologized - he then made a mistake and said a few words in Spanish in the middle of a sentence - so we asked him "do you speak or don't speak Spanish?" And in perfect, with no accent, Spanish said 'No, I do not speak Spanish'. And continued to fervently denied he spoke Spanish meanwhile speaking it... long story short: we asked him to please send us someone else because it is the only time we've felt bad @ this restaurant. Someone else came and the night was great. I just needed to let anyone know that this one server thinks he's worth more than others because he can communicate in two lenguages - big deal. Good place, good food (one lousy server in the mix - if you get him, find someone else that deserves...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an order via phone and the man did not take any of my information, simply gave us a number for pick up. My father went to pick the order up and gave the man our number. The man could not find our order because they wrote down the incorrect information. The items themselves had the correct number but the receipt on the outside of the bag was incorrect. The man then called my father a liar for saying that he had waited for 30 mins. He arrived at 12:10PM and at 12:40PM I called the distraught phone call from my father. It was the amount of disrespect to my father that leaves me believing this establishment does not care about their customers or image in the community. Thanks for wasting our time...
And this response of "he decided his number was 108" is absolutely unprofessional. Our order was 103. He said the order was 103. At this point you're simply attempting to make your establishment seem more appealing than reality. The place probably has wonderful food but dude...
