I went in to have my bridesmaid dress taken in and hemmed on 8/13/22 the woman told me it would be ready for pick up in two weeks, no problem, I paid the $150 that was due. I went back 2 weeks later and my dress had only been hemmed, at this point there is less than a week until we leave for the out of state wedding. I was told to come back Wednesday (9/7/22) and it would be done, I just tried to pick up the dress and was told it wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow (Thursday) our flight leaves at 6am tomorrow, that wouldn’t work. Who knows if my dress will be done in time. VERY disappointed with this business, not to mention the price was outrageous and while I was there trying the dress on (after it was “done”) I heard them talking with another customer and telling them a different price than what I paid for a hem.
Edit My husband had to go pick up my dress because I was working, I tried it on and it was not taken in as it was supposed to be. The woman I spoke to about it was very rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. So they did not have my dress done properly nor did they do or offer anything to make it right or offer a refund of any kind. Needless to say I will not be returning for...
Read moreWe have an absolutely terrible experience with this alterations business. We bought an outfit for my daughter to take on a cruise. Two weeks before we left, we took it in and all that needed to have done was a thin chiffon layer needed to be tucked underneath the breast line. They ended up shortening the entire romper and left all the fabric on the top that needed to be taken in. We took it back and asked that it be ready the morning we leave. We picked it up an hour and a half before we left for vacation. She came home and tried it on and it is completely ruined. They shortened the bodice again and now her breasts are exposed and it goes up the rear end and is uncomfortable because it is a romper. So we do not have the outfit for the trip and I have no time to take it back to have it addressed.Twice we very clearly articulated what we needed done and neither time were they able to follow the instructions and make the outfit...
Read moreThe most incompetent people alive. They literally don’t deserve one star. The lady who is Russian does not know anything about helping her customers. I had a ripped pocket on the inside of a jacket and she refused to restore it. Sat there and laughed at me because I wanted a pocket fixed, and doesn’t hand things back to you. She literally watches you struggle to get your things back from the other side of the counter with a smile on her face. Also, she’s is not experienced in hemming. Everything is either not finished, or comes apart after one wash. I don’t know how they’re still in business. The other lady with brown hair, doesn’t hand you your things, she just stares at you while you’re waiting for her to hand you your things. They’ve obviously never had any training. So rude and they take forever. It’s never quick....
