Awful experience today. Rude staff and no desire to help my son and I. Don't go here if you want to sell comics!!! We spent several days going through a large collection of various old comics and were excited to see if they had any value. Walked in and hoped to talk to a professional about the value of old comic books (40+ yrs old) and ask questions about collecting and selling them. Instead we were treated rudely like we were interrupting and were told that the store no longer buys comics! "We have too many and go try Heros in Charlotte or someplace else." I’ve been going several times and it’s always the same. The owner is not friendly or welcoming. If you try to talk about superhero related things he acts as if you’re a bothersome or nuisance to him. He looks miserable and has a negative attitude. If you have a business marketed towards children and adults, well try being personable and kind. Act like you want to be there as well as your customers that come into your place of business! Guys, I don’t recommend this place to any one. This place as a large stock of comic books and other merchandise that comic book lovers could want. They have the new material ready for the public every Wednesday. They also have weekly events for games like Magic the Gathering TCG and other table top games. The owner is one of the nicest people I ever met and he makes the experience pleasurable.
