My worst customer service experience of the year. I stopped by to pick up my prints from the online order rack and had difficulty finding them. An associate asks if I needed help and I say yes please, she asks for the last name on the order. I say my surname before spelling it out because it’s quite uncommon. She begins to walk away before turning back around and asking “wait what was it?” I thought she meant my last name again so I begin to spell it out before she cuts me off and snaps “NO! What was the order!?” I apologize for misunderstanding her and say theyre business cards. She finds and hands them to me so I politely ask if it’s possible for a refund on one of the two packs because I accidentally ordered too much. She then says with sass “No because it’s already printed.” (Which I understand, but it was a simple question as I couldn’t find the refund/return policy online for printing) I smile and say thank you before leaving because I knew that if I treated her the same way, I would’ve been labeled a difficult customer. I am so exhausted of being overly polite to service workers who pick and choose who they’re nice to. I go in a month later to print out something else and there was the same girl with glasses being incredibly kind to a different guest. So she’s clearly capable of basic human decency, just not with me lol. Having worked in customer service, I’ve treated EVERYONE with respect and patience despite the color of their skin, age, background, etc. Being rude to someone being nothing but nice to you doesn’t only make you a terrible worker, it makes you a terrible person. Print Center terrible service!! ONLY Go to FED EX PRINT center, they are worldclass and know how to handle your data + best Quality for better privce. Office Max employees are NOT TRAINED, they can´t handle your harddrive, force you to buy a usb-stick. All this is no problem at FED EX. Then at office max you need to send your data by email and get a code that you put in the print machine, you have to handle your own data + the printer, NO GO. The staff is useless and the manager Christine (doesn´t want to say her last name) tell you to go somewhere else, just waisting your time, so ridiculous if you just want to print A4 pages on a normal printer, not even that...

The website setup is great for ordering simple copies. The more complicated document I was printing was challenging to make sure I had it set up properly on the website. However, I left instructions for how I wanted the final product to look in the "special instructions" portion and was called by an Office Depot employee when they couldn't get it to look how I described. Turns out I hadn't set up the pages properly. They walked me through what was wrong and how to resubmit the document.
