Definitely has the vibe of a dank dive bar. When you go in, the tables are long banquet style tables and the bar is in the style of a sunken bar so they can have lounge chairs at the bar. If you go and think to yourself that you made a mistake, I urge you to sit down, have a drink and see if you still feel the same. It's a very endearing place and you get the feel many of the locals have been coming their whole lives. Told us when we asked if they had anything tropical because of the name "hang loose" but proceed to tell us, this is not that type of bar.
