Salon Elite — Local services in Mayfield

Schedule 2 haircuts for me and my daughter at 2. We showed up around 1:50pm, the place was not attractive to say the least, the seats were dirty and there was a foul smell. Around 2 the stylist comes out and we go back (mind you on the phone I only said 2 haircuts they could’ve been any kind of haircut) she asks what we want done it’s my 4 yr olds first haircut so I say just a trim to keep it healthy and asked if we could style it, she said she wouldn’t have time to style it , okay fine. She’s done , now I want the same thing and my bangs trimmed, which the were not trimmed properly. Just straight across, they look awful. We both finished at 2:10 pm . We were done within 10 minutes of our appointment time & there’s was no time to add some curl to my 4 yr olds hair? What if I had wanted a big chop would that have been rushed and made awful as well?? We will not be back and will be letting others know of...

Salon Elite is a very soothing, friendly, great family place! I have never had a bad experience there. All people that work there are so pleasant and agreeable with one another and they do take walk-ins!!! It's my one-stop shop!! I absolutely love this sweet Christian atmosphere that serves all ages and all people, whether man, child, teens, and women. A million stars for Salon Elite! Also, the music is wonderful for all ages!! Ive seen many happy people in one place, but always keep you feeling like you are their first concern!! Fun is my one word to describe! If one person can't help you, they gladly offer another stylist to take care of you. No jealousy in the place. They are on the cutting edge (pun intended) of the latest styles and techniques!! When they actually acknowledge you they do a good job, but when they say "walk ins welcome" and they dont say hi or ask if you and your toddler son need a hair cut for 35 minutes! not going back, has happened multiple times. IF you advertise "walk ins welcome" then you should have a greeter or a clip board to sign in or something! Dont ignore...
