Panda — Restaurant in Mayfield

Great little place to eat! It's not a very large place and the buffet doesn't have quite as many options as some places but there was still more than enough to choose from and the food was hot and good. It was the perfect assortment without leaving you feeling overwhelmed with choices. They have a small sushi selection. I'm personally not a huge fan but one member of our group commented that it was excellent for "buffet sushi". We noticed that they didn't replenish the sushi as often as the other food (two empty platters and two with 3-4 pieces on it) but perhaps would have if asked? The restaurant was simple, not decorated and without all the frills but it was clean, comfortable, and the wait staff was attentive. Ordinarily, I would have probably given 4 stars but I was incredibly impressed with the price. We went right at lunch and, for the 6 of us (we were charged for 5 adults and $3 for my 3 year old), it was right at $40. That included drinks as well. I have been there 2 times now an swear it's a hidden gem food is off the chain to die for service delightful they clear tables quickly an refill drinks as needed an one of the things I love the most most places you go to dinner the waitresses get to friendly telling you all there problems an junk but here the waitresses are so respectful an.give privacy but still do there jobs very nicely the place is very clean an the bathrooms are spotless truly a great place to dine in are carry out I would recommend panda buffet to anyone wanting to go there after only 2 times it's now our family birthday dinner go to spot an just want to say thank you to all the staff there for the 110% best restaurant experience I have had in all my 53 year an to anyone reading this if you haven't been yet Lord what are waiting on. Must be the buffet ...Real quality review: Disappointed, house rice no flavor..a little onion and some peas...no egg, carrot or scallions...low mein noodles..no flavor, not much of anything but noodles, egg rolls(shame on them)...cabbage with onion only...no green onion, carrot, flavor is lacking...Big plus..they use fresh oil ( very important)..... chicken teriyaki..it was dry, no flavor....I ordered several things...seemed fresh, but all lacked ingredients and flavor....Why the over all rating is high is beyond me.... either folks like quality and not flavor or never had Chinese Oriental food before... Seriously they get points for freshness but they know better, they know how to make the food ....you'd be better off going to Walmart in the freezer section...
