I woke up yesterday morning with the worst back pain (sciatica) from our 12 year old bed and mattress, so my husband and I decided to spend the day mattress shopping. We drove by Sleep Outfitters and decided to take a look, figuring they were probably way out of our price range. When we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted by Connie. She sat us down for about 2 minutes and asked a few questions to help her decide on which were the best options for us. This included health issues such as sleep apnea, diabetics (circulation), restless legs, back pain and so forth. She had us lay on three different beds with pillows. She showed us so many features like massage, zero gravity, positions for head and feet and so much more! She went over mix and match options and prices. She gave us privacy to discuss what we wanted to do. I talked with her about payment options, which made it so easy for us to pay without the stress of having to pay in full up front. DON'T PURCHASE WITH CASH. We bought a new mattress set from here and was told by the salesperson they guaranteed it would be delivered on time which is today. We got rid of our old set this morning waited for the pickup call to come. Come 4p.m. we still had not received the call so we called them. The salesperson informed us only our boxsprings had come in. It will be another week to get a mattress. The salesperson knew there was a issue this morning but choose not to call us. Normally I'd let it slide and just wait but I have nothing to sleep on tonight. We were then told we had to contact customer service to ask for a refund. Never were we told this while purchasing the set. Customer Service told us it's going to be 10-14 business days before they issue a refund check simply because we paid in cash. The store took our cash they should be able to refund my cash. I will never buy from this company again. They don't follow thru with their guarantees then hold your cash hostage when...
