Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Maysville

This location has certainly gone downhill. The last few times I’ve gone to this location, the food and/or employees have been mediocre. Tonight was the last time I’d ever try anything at this location. After driving 35 minutes, all I wanted to order were two slushies and a kids meal. After each slushy ordered, the person asked if I wanted nerds in it. I would respond “no, thank you” and continue on with the order. After ordering the second slushy and saying no to nerds yet again, I go to order the kids meal. A different employee comes over the speaker and asks yet again if I wanted nerds. I said no, thinking they must have misheard me. As I continue trying to order the kids meal, the second employee keeps asking if I want nerds in various items, including the milk with the kids meal, while snorting-laughing. I get joking around, but the constant interruptions while trying to place a very simple order was just annoying, especially after the long drive. We ended up leaving and not getting anything because they had turned the whole thing into a joke and I didn’t feel like wasting money on a meal that I’m sure wouldn’t be correct since their focus was on some running joke versus...

Daughter and I stopped here to just get a quick snack, and ordered milkshakes. The lady taking our order informed us that their ice cream machine was out of order for the time being but preceded to day that we could still get milkshakes thou because they blend them by hand. Well when we got them we had already left the premises and was headed home. So when I took a drink of mine it was horrible. It was pretty much like drinking oreo runny milk. Daughters was the same way. Was very disappointed in the product. Then went back today to try it one last time, I asked over the intercom where the list was for their ice cream desserts. She responded with a quick snobby response and when I couldn't ever find what she said on the menu bored, and made it aware to her that I couldn't see it on the menu she never responded back. So let upset with 2 bad visits there. But still got 3 stars because the food is usually...

Been holding back on this review but at this point I can't not say something as I am disappointed in the products I've received the last 3-4 times I've went there. Ordered a mini chocolate milkshake which was basically chocolate milk and a large Reese cup blast with added Oreos, $11.11 was the total price which would be completely fine had they put in the Oreos and Reese cups, seems to me that charging this much you could put the candies in the ice cream sense the ice cream cost about 10 cents. Definitely done with Sonic I'm sure there's a dairy queen somewhere in the area. (No need to escalate my concern just one less customer you have to deal with, I'm certain it won't hurt your bottom line. Just wanted to post my opinion of the business to let those who chose to embark upon your doorstep to be informed an not be disappointed should they encounter the same situation)...
