Bob Evans — Restaurant in Maysville

I just wanted to share the worst service I have ever received at a Bob Evans. This was the third time I’ve been to this location wanting some good old bob Evans service, and food! Been going to bob Evans since I was a kid. I’ll have to start going to another bob Evans, this one is just closest to my house. My server this time was a girl with dark hair, bun on top of her head. didn’t give me a refill, forgot about me, was texting instead of serving me. Laughing and having fun with a young girl, and young boy. Let my food sit in the window for probably 10 minutes. I had to ask another server for silverware, and a refill. She took care of me, She was very nice, said her name was destiny , she said if I needed anything to let her know, and she wasn’t even my server! That’s how a customer should be treated! I seen her helping other servers tables also. Running around doing everything….Pretty ridiculous. The other servers there didn’t care about the customers. The young boy was serving the table across from me, he forgot their straws, messed up their order, was too busy flirting and laughing with the young girl server. I should of got the manager, but that would have been a waste of my time and my breath. The way this place is ran, these employees attitudes, and everything says A lot about management. She doesn’t care. No sorry from the server, she didn’t care. The last time I was there trailina or whatever the general manager didn’t give even give me a refund on my salad that had hard as a rock chicken on it, I almost broke my tooth trying to eat it. At first we were not sure of bob evans due to a couple of people in our group looking at yelp reviews being so low. We however decided to give it a shot. It was consider more of brunch due to it being mid way between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant had only 2 tables being served currently which was awesome for our big group. Most of our group ordered breakfast, all though some of us did go ahead and get a lunch meal or dinner meal. Our drinks were constantly kept full. I’m not sure if the waitress was nervous or new but she could use some practice on pouring coffee. The food came out in what I consider a timely fashion. We kept getting asked who’s food was who’s. No big deal again. Food tasted great was cooked exactly how everyone wanted. We got asked multiple times if we had any issues they would be corrected immediately or they couldn’t be then something would be change out for it, which was great. Offered to give everyone a drink to take with us which is a plus.

The bathrooms and restaurant were both clean. The customer service was friendly.

Overall my score of a 4 instead of a 5 was solely based off of waitress/ service performance. I feel the waitress could use a little more practice with pouring coffee especially hot an not spilling it so much. Maybe a morning smile :), and remembering who ordered what instead of asking each individual as it came out.

The food was cold when served. Asked for the manager. She comes to the table and asked..What's the problem with our food? Told her it was cold and would like it served hot. She walks away saying nothing. The waitress walks over says she placed the order again. When our food came out it was hotter. The only issue was the chicken was pink and raw. We told the waitress to let the manager know we were done and not eating. She came back to the table with a nasty attitude and unapologetic. She walks off mouthing they don't know what they're talking about. Then starts yelling at the cooks loud enough the entire restaurant heard. I usually like eating at this chain but this was the first time at this location in Maysville Ky. I will never eat here again. The place was dirty the staff was extremely rude and the manager was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful to guests and the staff. Never saw the manager's name but the waitress did call her Trulina. Forgive the spelling if incorrect. That's more respect than we or the staff got. 0-star rating.
