I want to take the time and give a great big shout out to this small town local business .My husband I have been discussing how we were needing to get a new mattress and box springs . The mattress we own now we have had for over 7 years , I know, we should have bought a new one along time ago. We went to Texas last year and stayed at a beach house and the mattress they had was so comfortable that we started looking around to find the cost and what different types were available . Anyways, a few days ago they posted about how May was customer appreciation month and that everything in the store would be on sale. I saw someone say they needed a mattress , and another person stated that she recommended Mlily brand. So I went on the Mlily website and looked at all of the different brands they had. I sent a message to Tannehill Furniture and asked if they carried them, they stated they did. That same morning I sent a message and they sent me all of the links to view the mattresses . We were going to wait a few days to go but we changed our mind. We went to see them on 5/6/20 . I made my way around and zeroed right in on the three that were in the store . The salesman that helped us explained everything to us right down to the cost, right down to the most popular one . We sat on all three and ultimately chose the Mlily Fusion Luxe . We also needed new box springs to go with it. He also explained how it would arrive and what we would need to do once we receive it. A great bonus is that they do financing through the store . We filled out an application through Snap and we were approved within five minutes. We are now going to be owners of a brand new bed and box springs . I want to say thank you all for making it easy and pain free . They make you feel valued as a customer . I recommend them to anyone who is needing furniture . They are quick to respond and always willing to answer any question that you have. There are no hidden surprises when it comes to leasing . I’ve lost count on how many purchases I’ve made from Tannehill but just made my 3rd large purchase. All bedroom sets, two additional beds, both sets of living room furniture, all TV stands and many other things in my home have come from Tannehill Furniture and Mattress. One particular bedroom set (the set that made me a customer for life) cost almost $2,000 less even including an extra chest of drawers and an extra night stand than it was going to cost me at two other furniture stores I’d gone to before finding it at Tannehill. One purchase was too large to fit in their truck, (2 full bedroom sets with extra night stands and chests, two tv stands, couch and loveseat set, coffee table and a few other things), but instead of making multiple loads and delaying anything they literally rented a larger truck so all my items could be brought at one time. I wasn’t ready for everything to be assembled/put in place when it was delivered so they even offered to come back and move/assemble it when I was ready. Very friendly, accommodating and professional. They will go above and beyond to get what you are looking for if they don’t have it. They stand behind their products and will help if you ever have to deal with a warranty claim. I personally have never had to do any type of warranty claim. Everything I’ve bought has and is still holding up great. They are very upfront about quality and pricing. Whether you need something cheap for temporary use or something you want to last for years to come, tell them what you’re looking for and what you’d like to spend and they will get you fixed up. They are a small local business who also give back to the community in ways too numerous to list but one of the biggest ways is by partnering with a local not for profit to help provide beds for kids who otherwise wouldn’t have them. This is the worst store I have ever been into. This is my story. My helper went to buy a boxspring for me. He chose to go to Tannehill in McAlester, OK. When he brought the boxspring back I put it on the bed and then put the mattress on it. It was way too tall, my wife would not be able to get into in. So, I immediately took the boxspring off the bed, spend a great deal of time putting the plastic back on it and took it to the store (it was a box spring-not a mattress. There was not even a scratch on it). I never sat on it; it did not spend more than a couple hours at my house. When I arrived at the store, I was greeted by a young man and told him I needed to return the boxsprings. He sent me to a guy behind the counter. So, I told him I needed to return the boxspring and told him why. He immediately said No! I explained why I was returning it and he still said no. I asked for the manger or owner, and he informed me he was the owner. Then he tried to tell me that he could not take it back because it was a "health risk". That was clearly not true, so I asked him if that was a law and I believe he said it was "company policy" (he owned the store he said). I own a small business and the lack of customer care or concern from this guy was ZERO. Given he was so bad at customer service, I asked him if he inherited the business. He said he bought it, which was shocking to me given his lack of people skills. Btw, his price was about twice what I could buy it online for-but I needed it today. So, I didn't get a useable boxspring today and I now have an unusable new boxspring because this store is horrible. I now have to buy another boxspring. It will definitely not be...
