Let me start off by saying that I loved this place. The girls are always nice and the work they did was always amazing so last night was kind of surprising. I had made an appointment for 6:30 on to get my nails removed and get some shellac. I show up and after 5 minutes of waiting they ask me if I had an appointment or if I was a walk in. I told them I had made an appointment and what I was gonna get done. So they’re trying to figure out who’s going to help me because (I think) they had overbooked. So while they’re trying to figure it out they’re just complaining right in front of me. It seemed like no one wanted to help me. Finally someone says she can do it so when I go to her chair she says she actually can’t because the person she had an appointment with was already there. Then they don’t say anything again while I’m just standing there. Finally someone else says she can help me, but when I sit down she seems mad and she’s kind of rude when she goes to get the acetone. At this point I’m upset because they’re scheduling mistake isn’t my fault and they’re complaining like they’re going to do the work for free so I tell them I’m just gonna get my nails taken off and to forget the shellac. Then while I’m getting my nails soaked ANOTHER girl says she’ll help me and asks if I’m sure I don’t the polish, I did want the polish but they were just making me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable so I said no. After I paid the girl did apologize for the miscommunication and the waiting but it still sucked. I’m always telling everyone I know to go to this place even though they’re a little expensive because to me they’re the best but now I don’t think I’m going to go back because the way they acted and treated me was really...
Read moreI made my appt for the weekend. Was a treat to myself. I accidentally showed up to the location close to pecan and was redirected to the 2nd location. Which was fine they were nice about it, plus it was my bad. Well when I arrived to the right place no one greeted me or let me know to sit or Check In , they were busy with clients, however, there was one lady sitting on one of the pedi chairs, I assume she worked there and was just chilln or she was the employee’s friend. Anyway the way they were talking was just fowl. Dirty language in both english and Spanish, bad words, loud and obnoxious one lady walked out. I was tempted but I was like no I made this appt. It's me time. Well I showed my tech a pic of what I wanted she was nice alittle quiet at first. The tech I had seem to be the go to, everyone asked her advice on. Color and technique, but I was not satisfied with my nails at all. One hand looks shorter, thicker and wider one nail is bumped up so high even. My daughter noticed, and the other hand is great🥰 i didn't want to cause a big thing I was tired and hungry it took almost 3 hours, just for a plain color with some glitter, I was also suppose to get a pedi, but there went that didnt have time for my pedi and I don't think it was scheduled because they didn't ask and I didn't mention it. .cost me $ 80 just for the nails . I shouldn't had paid it I know but I felt bad and just wanted to get on with my day. I will try the pecan location next time just to give this brand a second chance, but I will never go to the 83rd location again....
Read moreI've gone a few times with different techs, but I haven't found the one there. I have paid between 85-$100 each time. The time it takes to finish the nails is roughly about two hours, the design is usually similar but not ever the same, they always use a similar color or product, which I understand, but design wise and nail art, it's very poor. I stopped asking for nail art for the same reason. When doing your nails there, your hands will be sore, they are harsh with them. But it goes away. I do like the quality of products and I'm assuming the time they take making the nails is what makes the nails last for a very long time. Their stations are always dirty, very dusty, and the brushes by the sink to wash your hands is pretty full all the time.Tech wise, they're very kind but they do get distracted a lot with their phones, or one will be waiting around on the pedicure chairs or on their phones, leave to get coffee or food while my tech has to stop what she's doing to answer the business phone, and makes our wait time longer. I always go mornings, and they're usually late, so I always have to wait. The place is very beautiful though! Maybe you need to find the right tech for you in order for it to be a...
