As a student here at CHCP all I can say is that so far everything has been going great. The staff is so attentive and nice. Everyone their has made my experience from day one until now great. The tour, the orientation and my experience up until now like I said has been great. I’ve met so many people and was provided so much help and other things like (scrubs, laptop, backpack etc) to start off. The teachers are really helpful in not only my program (pharmacy technician), but the other programs offered as well. I am coming all the way from Brownsville, so that should also be a sign that if I can drive all the way to and from the school that it’s been great. The teachers do everything they can to help you get ready for your certification exam and besides doing only work you do a lot of hands on which I love. We are able to experience what we are going to be doing at both retail/hospital setting. I am also part of the ambassadors and I love it. They are really understanding when it comes to me not being able to go because I do live a bit far and sometimes the weather or time isn’t good, but when I do go we do help a lot in the community. Like I said I came to this school because they really focus on what you need to get your certification and they offer associates and bachelors degrees too which I am excited to take. This is my experience and I encourage people to come and apply.

By far the best college experience I have had in a long while! The people here at CHCP-McAllen really care for their students and want the best for the students future! They treat you like family because you are family when you walk through those doors you are welcomed with with a warm smile and open arms! I started in May of 2019 and just finished in January of 2020 and now going for my associates in HMAS. I start in March and I am excited to continue growing in the field of Health Care. Also I became a student ambassador and help fellow students or future students find their way to the field they wanted to do or achieve!

I had a great experience here at CHCP with the pharmacy technician program. They helped me greatly and were willing to work with my expired tech trainee card when no other school would. Mr Ibarra and Mr Maldonado went above and beyond to help prepare us for the certification exams and help get us into an externship site we wanted to be at. Ms. K and Ms Tabby are two other instructors you'll meet here who have great wisdom to share. Thank you all!

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Andrea Diaz and her esteemed students at The College of Health Care Professions for providing an exceptional baby ultrasound experience. I was truly impressed by the level of care and professionalism demonstrated throughout the entire process.

Andrea and her students displayed remarkable patience and empathy, consistently inquiring about my well-being and ensuring my comfort during the procedure. Despite my baby's initial reluctance to cooperate, they remained dedicated and employed various techniques to capture clear and satisfactory images.

I was particularly touched by the thoughtful gesture of offering snacks during the brief intervals when we attempted to encourage my baby to reposition. This small act of kindness further enhanced the positive experience and made me feel genuinely cared for.

As a first-time mother, I deeply appreciate the absence of any sense of rush or discomfort during the ultrasound session. Andrea and her students created a welcoming and supportive environment, which greatly contributed to the overall positive experience.

In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Andrea and her students for the exceptional service and memorable experience they provide to expectant mothers. Their dedication and compassion are truly commendable, and I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking a...

I highly recommend CHCP. 💯 I initially started as an LMRT & the instructors at the McAllen Campus were always there if I needed the extra guidance. I also gained my Medical Assistance Certification shortly after. You can get this when you do the LMRT program. I, then went to do the online Rad Tech bridge program & I am so glad I did! This field has been very rewarding. Watching many of my peers grow & become not only Rad Techs but are working to become MRI & CT techs as well as being in Cath Lab is inspiring. There are so many opportunities to grow in the Radiology world. If you ever get bored of one thing, you could always do something else. The only thing I will say about studying radiology is that it is not for quitters! These courses can be overwhelming but if you truly dedicate yourself to school, then you can do it! This is coming from a mom of two! Having kids isn't an excuse, because it is possible. I studied everywhere I went. Including my kids games & practices. You also need to have an amazing support system. CHCP does everything possible to ensure that you are placed at a good externship site & that you find a job toward the end of your program. The staff is always there to help you along the way. Especially, when you feel most discouraged. Choose CHCP, you'll be...
