He Brews Life Cafe — Restaurant in McAllen

It can definitely be improved more. I've given it some time to get better, but I believe I can review it more accurately now. If you love sweet coffee, Frapps, and anything with alot of sugar, then they are good. If you enjoy actually tasting the coffee, then I don't recommend. I've thrown the coffee away 3 times because it was too bitter. This coffee gives me heard burn, so I then decided to give the teas a shot. Now, they are just decent. As for the wait....yeah be ready to wait a while. They are not very fast, so be patient. If you want a place that has a great atmosphere, yes this is the place. However, if you want to enjoy a great cup of coffee, not so much....unless it's more sugar then coffee. A coffee shop should not be reviewed by its beliefs, it should be reviewed by the taste. Alot of the reviews are members of the church, so it's not very accurate to the level of honesty this coffee shop should be reviewed at. I do hope they are able to find a way to speed up the lines, and create a great shot of espresso, not one that gives heartburn, which normally means they are not taking the time to learn how to pull the shot correctly. As for the price, not going to lie, I feel ripped off from the church. There is coffee shops in mission and north mcallen that charge less and have better quality coffee. They aimed high and delievered very below standard. You cannot try selling at Starbucks prices when the customer service, speed, and quality are not at the same level. In all honesty, my fiancé and I pulled up and sat in the car for a bit questioning whether we’d like to walk in because we were on a time crunch being on lunch break. After all, we figured it’d be quicker to pull into a drive through. Ultimately, we walked in. Karina greeted us with a warm smile and asked us to wait momentarily as she finished things up. We didn’t mind whatsoever, as it gave us time to scan the menu. Karina attended us quickly after, and not only asked how we were doing but took the time to ask what our names were. Remarkably sweet. She asked what we were feeling today, coffee, tea, etc. We both stated coffee and I proceeded to ask what her favorite drink was. She gave an enticing recommendation, and I took it up. After we ordered, she stated that she would bring the drinks out to us when she was done. We briefly waited and admired the beautiful decor throughout. By the time we knew it, Karina was walking toward us with our drinks and handing them to us by name. Now, mind you, we like to think of ourselves as coffee connoisseurs, and this was without a doubt some of the best coffee we have had. So, @HEBREWSCOFFEE , Here the atmosphere is very laid back and the aura is uplifting and positive. It’s actually punny that I come here. I enjoy the COFFEE strictly because of their unique blend of drinks, and their take on the subliminal meaning to their coffee. It blends with a higher purpose. Here the love is real regarding the meaning to what the essence of coffee is to the soul.
