I usually love this store..it's the only one we shop at..BUT, we had an issue today with your bakery department. Yesterday I went in and ordered a cake for my daughters bday party. I was told they needed 24 hours in advance, that I couldn't get my cake right away (understandable) So, I asked for 6 cupcakes and 2 colossals for smashing. One for yesterday, and one for today with her cake that I ordered to pick up, today, at 5pm. I had my husband go and pick it up today,I made sure that they had enough time to make it perfect for her and that they wouldn't rush it. Well, that didn't happen! When my husband arrived to pick it up, they couldn't find it?! Turns out, the woman who I explained ALL OF THIS TO..put it down for Friday instead. So now I have no cake, but they have one baked. So they tell us, 15 min and it'll be done. So I just paid 30 bucks to have a cake RUSHED that shouldn't have been and had to wait a half hour for them to make it. This is NOT acceptable. We have people waiting at the house and we're waiting for the cake! After going through all of the cakes and her telling me she didn't have ANYTHING, which tells me either she didn't care or the store doesn't have enough supplies to fulfill their catalog. Get it together! And no, I didn't receive a discount for the inconvenience or trouble or having to wait. Thanks again kroger, shopping today was not a pleasure and we don't plan on coming back...
Read moreI love this Kroger's as it is generally one of the nicest, neatest and most efficient in the McDonough area. I would give it 5 stars with the exception that it is also one of the (or maybe is the) smallest Krogers of the area and that means their product availability can be (and has been) quite limited. With that said though, when you check with management they do take the effort to accommodate your requests by providing store rain checks or credits when applicable. My only other love/complaint is it's proximity to home but it's since become an inconveniently busy location. Coming up East from Eagles Landing/Hwy 23/42, there is no turning lane RIGHT into the first entrance and can often back up fast on-coming traffic. It desperately needs a turning lane, albeit small, but necessary to ease the sudden stop in traffic flow. As well since Union Grove Crossing next to Union Grove High School is building up quickly and adding new businesses, this will just add to the heavy traffic and further hinder it's restricted access. Beyond this problem, it still remains a great Kroger to shop in--maybe just...
Read moreThe Eastlake Kroger pharmacy has fell victim to big pharma and the liberal agenda. I took my prescription there to get it filled. Before I went, I called and spoke with someone I knew. That person confirmed that the pharmacy had plenty of Ivermectin pills to fill my script. When I presented it to the pharmacist I told her that I had already called and confirmed that they could fill my script. She then walked over to the person I spoke with and whispered a few words. That person came back to me and said they do have enough Ivermectin but the head pharmacist lady will not fill it. So I asked why? Of course I didn't get an answer but I'm sure we all know why. It doesn't fit the liberal covid narrative. I guess they would rather me go to the hospital where people are dying on the vent instead of getting the meds that actually work. The excuse was actually, it hasn't been approved by the FDA. That's funny though considering Ivermectin has been used to treat people now for over a century. Kroger has lost...
