Boba Mi in McDonough is far better. Delicious drinks and food. I am not affiliated with them, just a customer who tried their drinks and food last year or the year before and loved it.
Previous: TL;DR I don't recommend this place unless you're desperate.
TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SUB PAR BUBBLE TEA. 2 drinks (bubble milk tea) in the ONLY size they carry, both with less and no ice, only 1 drink had ONE topping, and the ENTIRE COST was over $16 without tip.
That's not acceptable. Especially because the flavor consistency first off always varies by who makes the drink. Half the time, it's okay. The other half of the time, it's bad or undrinkable, but I'm usually no longer in the vicinity by the time I notice.
If you're willing to drive a bit further down the interstate, go to Gong Cha or any place around there. Taste is way better, always consistent, and only around $6 for 1 large (if you want large, yes you can choose) WITH 2 toppings, with how ever much ice or sugar level you want! They don't charge you a fee for wanting MORE drink in a LARGE cup that you paid for. I used to like this place (King Kong Milk Tea) cause it's nearby, but I woke up when I realized how insane that was with only 2 teas and I could've bought a WHOLE A** meal from Zaxby's with a drink, dessert, and extra sauce for that amount. You can bet I'm upset.
DUDE, don't even let me start on that pho. If you're looking to over consume salt without much pho broth flavor to enjoy, then this is the one for you. AND the "banh mi" is WAY TOO SMALL and not made with the correct bread.
And sometimes there's this girl with dirty blonde colored hair who texts even right in front of you while sitting when you're ready to order. đ The only good thing about this place is that they resell Asian snacks, just for a lot more money than the Asian stores. But...
Read moreTotal ripoff with false advertising. Everything. You. get. is. extra. No ice? Extra charge. Regular ice? Extra charge. Boba for the milktea you picked that is pictured as coming with Boba? Extra. Want that Frappuccino that is pictured with whipcream? You guessed it, extra charge for that whippedcream ($1.25 more, according to the sticky note by the register, since it's not on the menu.) The food choice is ridiculous. Go to Gong Cha and save your money. This place exists to rip people off who just don't know any better. These "extra" things for their "large only" drinks are standard at most other places. The flavor is, of some kind of tea I guess? But probably not what you were thinking when you ordered it. Something that would greatly help would be to have open and blatant pricing, and accurate menu pictures. Otherwise you're literally tricking people into wasting their money. At the end of it all, they want exact change but if you use a card, theres an extra charge for that. Horrible...
Read moreWorst boba tea place I have ever been to. Pictures on their menu are complete FALSE ADVERTISING and their prices are an absolute ripoff.
I ordered a Red bean boba tea (pictured on their menu as a light red beverage with boba in it). They asked if I wanted ice, and seeing none in the picture, I said no. They upcharged $1 (total $7.50) for that without saying anything. I was asked I wanted toppings â I did not, I wanted the menu item exactly as pictured on their menu, so I said no.
I recieved a small, colorless and flavorless blonde tea (Picture attached). I asked the employee where the boba pearls were, and was told they are a topping and was extra if I wanted that. When I said their menu pictured it as included, she just shook her head with an attitude. Needless to say, it was bad. Do...
