Keith Ace Hardware — Local services in McGregor

I do a lot of shopping at Ace mostly in Lorena. I went to Ace in McGregor where it seems like almost everyone employed here are on crutches or one person just pushed a basket everywhere he was going. I ask this guy if he could mix some paint for me and he was very unhappy and snappy towards me. I was shocked that he was treating customers like this. He mixed my paint and said here it's done.... I like to support local businesses but I will NOT go back to McGregor Ace Hardware. I will go where I am greater and treated like a wanted customer. I will make the drive to Lorena where Mark and his crew know how to...

Well the last time I was there, I went to get paint for my daughter room and well, the guy at the paint counter was putting the lid on the top of the 5 gallon bucket and instead of cleaning the lid off completely, he snapped it back on and paint went all over my shorts and shirt. I did not care of the paint on the shorts, but the shirt was one my boyfriend had just brought me for mother day. He did apologize, but that was the only thing they did. Paid $200 for 5 gallons of paint, brushes and drop cloth and nothing about my clothes...

You guys are extremely judgmental people. You were so worried my husband was gonna steal from you you did not even hear him asking about protective glasses for me. Then you want to ask him and my son in law if they brought the welding hoods with them. These are two of the best guys best welders . You guys don’t sell dirty hoods for welding these guys just got off work and brought a brand you don’t even sell and well used items in to get some shield parts for them. I’m upset we just moved here . We won’t be shopping...
