I went into Sushi Box with high hopes after seeing all of the positive reviews online. However, I couldn't have been more wrong. As someone who enjoys eating sushi often, I was so excited to learn that there was such a restaurant around Target. I couldn't have been more disappointed with the very average quality of food and mediocre service. The worst part had to be the owner, who I saw constantly hovering above the young staff. I would definitely not recommend supporting this business because of the small portions and unreasonable prices. Please do not come here, unless you want to be as disappointed as I was. I tried to give some leftovers to my dog Luna but she ended up throwing up. As far as I'm concerned, fish should be safe for dogs to eat, so I'm seriously questioning the sourcing of the sushi...

Wow this place is soo good! Incredible prices, high-quality sushi. You HAVE to try it out. The staff also makes you feel like family which is really big for me. I live about 25 min away, but this place is worth it. It’s my husband and my new favorite sushi spot.

There’s a deal they have if you order 5 specialty rolls for $38.99. Couldn’t pass up the deal so we did it and they didn’t skip out on anything. The sushi was great quality, the presentation was beautiful and you can’t beat that price.

So many sushi places in Frisco have skimped on everything, from making rolls half their size to not having the freshest fish. I’m so happy we drove out to Sushi Box to give it a try. I’m also happy we found our new sushi joint!!!

Thank you guys at Sushi Box for the...

I’m honestly questioning how this restaurant got such great ratings on here. I had it delivered from Uber Eats and the food was inedible. It was the worst sushi I ever tasted.

The menu is misleading because it says crab but it’s actually imitation crab. This needs to be clear on a menu. That was in the Shogun roll.

The Spicy Tuna was so awful that it tasted rancid. I didn’t feel safe eating it. It didn’t taste like tuna at all.

The Red Mountain was the only one that could have been decent but you couldn’t pick it up at all without it falling apart completely.

This was a complete waste of money and total disappointment. There are so many other great sushi restaurants in the area so I suggest avoiding this one...

Ordered some sushi to celebrate mother in law birthday. Ordered 2 phily, 1 orange california, 1 baked salmon. Philadelphia rolls looked really weird, usually those contain one piece of salmon meat inside each roll, this time it contained 2-3 smaller pieces each roll, and only 1 out of those pieces was pink salmon meat you used to eat in Philly rolls, others were brown salmon meat that is close to the skin, the one that contains the most fat. It looked like chef minced some salmon leftovers into my rolls… Check out photos… Baked salmon rolls have been burnt :( Celebration was ruined by the low quality food I got :( Tried to reach them out to get some explanations through chat feature on Google maps - got ignored.

We went on a weekday around noon and ordered a bento box and tempura udon. There was only one other group of customers besides us, but we still waited over 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our food! The food was just average. The salad dressing was a bit too salty, and the pan-fried dumplings were very hard—almost like they had been deep-fried multiple times, or the cooking time or temperature wasn’t right. The tempura shrimp was decent, but nothing special. The udon noodles were okay and came with a few toppings. The server was polite, but the wait was just too long. For those in a hurry, we’d recommend calling in your order ahead of time and picking it up about 30 minutes later to save time.

I had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Box today, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish! 🍣✨ Their quality, freshness, service, and staffs are well beyond its concept, Sushi Box. Full service restaurant quality on every foods at the cost of grab & go foods. I tried chef's choice sushi, sashimi, rolls, and udon upon my choice. Whatever you expect, it will exceed your expectation. I live in Southlake and this Sushi Box is much better than any other Japanese restaurants in Southlake. I occasionally drive to Frisco and this location needs additional 20 mins from Frisco; however, it is worth driving. I definitely stop by again.
