I took me and my mother here as first timers since the reviews were incredibly good, some even saying it’s better than places like Cold Stone Creamery as well. With that I decided to give this place a try. Upon walking in, we were met with a darkened store (majority of the lights were off), only one single slow moving worker, and 2 people waiting for their order. We ended up having to wait 10-15 minutes just to get our orders through, and waiting just to get service was fairly irritating. The store seemed very dead and extremely understaffed, because it seemed like no one else was in the building at all. Simply put, the first impressions were subpar. After waiting the short while, we let the worker know of our orders and sat down. I ordered a banana split and my mother ordered a Snickers shake. We sat down and waited another 10 minutes for both of our items to be finished. The shake my mother had ordered was not very flavorful and was lacking the ingredients to make it what it was supposed to be, and moreover, it looks nothing like was is shown and advertised; it was mediocre at best. The banana split for me was much better, and was decent, but I feel like corners were cut and was mildly disappointed with it. I probably won’t be coming back here at all, it seems like Marble Slab is at a low, and I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Save your time and receive better...
Read moreAvoid this place. If I could give lower than one star I would. My wife and my granddaughter and I stopped here for a treat after dinner. We live close by and had not been here for probably 11 years. What a disappointment. First of all it did not appear very clean and many of the ice ream containers were bottom of the barrel and did not look fresh. We should have turned around and walked out. Especially when the middle aged bearded man behind the counter never addressed us. Never said welcome in, hello, nothing. He just stared at us waiting for us to say something. I had a feeling that he could be the owner. I ordered one scoop in a cup for my granddaughter and one for my wife. I asked if I could taste one flavor. He did not say a word. Kind of seemed pissed that I asked. He grabbed one of the small tasting spoons and handed me what was barely enough ice cream to taste it. I ordered two scoops in a cup for myself. He then rang up the four scoops and I paid. $27.00 with tax?? $6.75 per scoop? What a joke of an establishment. He never said thank you. He didn't say three words the whole experience. This man should not be public facing in any capacity. On a side note I went to Braums yesterday on El Dorado and had a total of three scoops in two cups and it was $4.35 and more ice cream and better ice cream. Marble Slab is way overpriced and...
Read moreI came here w/family cuz i wanted 2 try them out since Cold Stone Creamery is a little further. I wish i woulda taken a pic of how our shakes were compared 2 what they frickin pictured but they were not as pictured below! I got the coffee while my mom got the strawberry shake. There was no chocolate in between the coffee ice cream nor was there any chocolate or whipped cream on top and shake had no whipped cream on top or the white stuff as pictured. Sad cuz thats what i paid 4 and didnt get. Also the owner sat at a table on his laptop and made us wait 4 bout 10 minutes even tho we were the only ones there and they were open at 12pm. He was the only one there. On top of this, the place was filthy, the bathroom was dirty and the waffle machines.. 🤢 the floors were dirty. Doesnt anybody there know the meanin of clean? I am so surprised the health inspector isnt there 2 shut the place down w/how dirty that place is. I will never go there again and i hope no one else does either. That was the last time i will spend money there. Also, the guy didnt seem 2 care that they were outta most of the ice cream since they were like half empty. Yea, so if ya read this far, take this advice.. dont spend ur money there! 4 the price they ask, ya'd think they'd do as what the picture...
