Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, but Prism Bar and Grill in Frisco absolutely blew us away! I had one of their burgers—perfectly flame-broiled with incredible flavor—and my wife tried the veggie burger with paneer, which was equally delicious and surprisingly hearty. The fries were phenomenal—crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned.
But the real showstopper? The cheese curds. WOW. Easily the best I’ve ever had. They’re coated in a spicy breading that adds just the right kick, and the dipping sauce they come with ties it all together. Keith Lee would definitely give these a solid score—he might even have to do a double take.
The drinks were on point, with a great selection and well-crafted cocktails. The bartender was super friendly, the service was fast, and the owner personally came by to check in, which added such a personal touch. The whole staff made us feel genuinely welcome.
Honestly, we were shocked this place wasn’t packed. With food this good, a chill sports bar vibe, and multiple TVs playing the games, Prism should be a weekend hotspot. Dallas101 needs to come out and feature this place ASAP. It’s the kind of hidden gem that deserves to go viral.

To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Wife and sons drinks took 10 minutes after mine came to the table.
The “Double down Rita” turned into a coronarita…not as described and when the server was asked - she said that’s how it’s served. Menu does NOT mention that at all…you can see the drinks menu online.
Then the food - chips and dip…chips were the stalest I’ve ever had. When they are chewy, there’s a problem.
Main meals…my fried chicken sandwich was ok…barely…and the portion was the same size my son’s “kid burger”.
Wife’s BLT came disguised as a chicken wrap LMAO….they did take it back and 10 minute later her meals comes out..after specifically asking for no sauce/mayo….comes smothered in what I’m guessing was chipotle mayo…
Didn’t bother sending that back as we’d be here all night.
Server seemed to be either at the end of the shift (5-6pm) or wanting to be anywhere else besides at work.
Bar tender was a different story. Friendly, energetic….shame the serving staff and kitchen let the entire place down…
Had high hopes and I suggested coming here…first time and last time. Chillis, Chop Shop Garage or pretty much anywhere else would be and is better…don’t...
