They didn’t even look at the clothes I brought in to sell. Absolutely terrible customer service!!! I walked in there and handed them a bag full of not messed up good clothing at 6pm. They stop buying at 7pm. They told me it would take 20 minutes to look at the clothes. It took 5 minutes for them to say they weren’t interested because of the style and condition. When I looked around their store, the shoes had huge stains on the bottoms and the clothes were ripped where they shouldn’t be. I had a lot of items that looked similar to the ones they had. Places like this aren’t selling anything, if they are they aren’t getting anything for them, then they SCAM you out of your money. BUYERS AND SELLERS BEWARE!!! Read the bad reviews from the Mechanicsville location and all of their others before you think about buying or selling. Edit in replying to the owner: Maybe yall should be more upfront about that. Instead of people wasting their time to bring clothes to sell. I looked in your store and saw clothing that was almost exactly like what I had. Like I said, your store is a SCAM and you have lots of items like mine and way worse than mine. Buyers and sellers need to be aware. By the way, I highly believe the good reviews are by people who are your friends not people who have gone in the store. Way to lie to people like you do in so many other ways. Eventually people will see for themselves. Oh and, you have to give WAYYY TO MUCH INFORMATION for just selling clothes!!!! Why do you need my drivers license number and address? What are you going to do with that information?...

I love the store. I have been there couple of times. The items and service just get better and better there. I sold items last week, and had an awesome experience. I got to Google to write a 5 star review to show my appreciation. I was shocked to see all negative reviews coming thru about Alicia within 1 hr. apart, it looks like somebody went on a rant, I personally know her. She is an awesome person. She is compassionate, hard worker, and supportive. She is fair and will hold you accountable. But she treats every one with respect, and will never leave anybody hanging. I used to work with her, that girl can be funny and productive at the same time. She is full of positive energy. I have seen her interacting with her staff. I don’t know what this is all about. But it looks like bunch of bullying and harassment from a former employee. I don’t know, I am assuming this. But it looks like that. It is sad to see these people writing reviews within minutes of each other. I cannot believe that they went that low to bring her precious kids to their mess. They even tried to make fun of her for wearing bright colors. She has a bright and beautiful personality that shines everywhere. Seeing all the reviews in the last 12 hours breaks my heart. I have worked with AND shopped with the owners since 2018 (shout out to the OG Kid to Kid staff!) and I’ve never had a negative interaction with them. They are unbelievably sweet and always do their best to work with people. They are some of the most genuine and kind hearted people I’ve ever met. They take care of their employees AND their customers in every way possible. Unfortunately there are people (including disgruntled employees) that are bitter and spiteful when the owners set appropriate boundaries (and uphold COMPANY policy). At the end of the day anyone would be lucky to shop with, and work for, this family. I sincerely hope bitter angry people learn to grow the heck up, be mature, and look inward to do some soul searching before opening their mouth. I love and appreciate the owners, adore their stores and styles, and will continue to shop at K2K and UC every chance I get!
