I recently brought my ring to S&S Jewelers for a simple resizing, expecting professional service and attention to detail. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing.
When I picked up my ring yesterday, I was shocked to find that they had completely altered its original design. Originally, the band had a textured matte finish and a flat profile. However, the jeweler had reprofiled the band, giving it a beveled edge on each side (as shown by arrows in photos, you can also see the ring before my original jeweler added the textured finish and note the completely flat profile on the band and high polish). This drastic change not only deviated from the ring's original aesthetic but also removed the unique textured finish that I loved.
To remedy the situation, I sought assistance from another jeweler yesterday afternoon. They were gracious enough to try and replicate the original finish in an attempt to hide/ camouflage the beveled edges and the gold that was removed from my band. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, the beveled edges are still visible, and the once-flat profile of my ring is now lost.
The lack of communication about these alterations and the irreversible changes made to my ring have left me dissatisfied with the service I received at S&S Jewelers. Their actions have significantly diminished the sentimental value of a cherished piece of jewelry.

It upsets me to write this after they have made my wedding band for me and I have bought several other things over the years from them.
I inherited a Tag Heuer from my father recently. The watch means the world to me and was my dad's favorite watch. It needed a new battery. So as I have before took it to S&S. They replaced the battery. But when I got in my car to leave I went to adjust the time. The screw down on the Tag was spinning (it wasn't 20 minutes earlier). I took it in to address them. They said they didn't touch that. He inspected it and while doing so the screw down fell off. He denied that it was anything they did (it obviously was). Said he could send it to their watch maker but would be 2 weeks until I got an estimate to fix my watch that they clearly broke.
I run a business myself and this is absolutely no way to treat a returning customer. My family has used them for years. That changes today. Beyond disappointed and sick about this watch now having to go...

Number 1 - Mike is fantastic. Talk about a guy willing to bend over backwards to make good relationships and keep his customers happy. I trust him fully with my watches.
Number 2 - They have definitively the best Seiko collection in Brevard period that I have seen. It's not even close.
Number 3 - They have the best selection of luxury watches I have seen in Brevard. I know there is an official Rolex store around, and that's great for new Rolex, but that comes with waitlists and etc. With Sullivan's, you can walk right in and purchase a preowned Rolex, Tudor, Omega, Cartier, and much more.
There really just isn't a shop in this county that I have seen that comes close to the selection and quality that Sullivan's has.
Oh yeah, as an added perk, totally reasonable pricing.
