Walking in I felt overwhelmed. Their selection is neatly packaged into a small, cozy abode overflowing with colors, textures, and styles. Immediately greeted by two warm and welcoming angels who were already working with another couple who seemed over the moon finalizing their purchase. I was drawn to the floral sweet section of the store (there is a slutty section as well - the name is the Yin and Yang for all desires). Obviously noticing I was apprehensive- both beauty guides invited me to try on items to find my own size and style - leaving me to my own devices if I wanted but also assuring me that I could show them what was working or not so that they could pull some curated pieces they thought might work for me. Nervous Nelly here wasn’t quite up to that challenge- but when I came out of the dressing room and voiced my concerns - they gleefully pulled some pieces - one of which was the most beautiful items I’ve ever tried on. Full on floral and sheer - I felt sexy and svelte (I’ve put on some weight recently and came in not loving my body). I left feeling empowered, beautiful and - might I say….sexy? I asked what to pair it with and the resounding answer “nothing but a smile! :) - but we found some thigh highs that chef kiss made the look. Will NEVER shop elsewhere for my intimate needs. The place was great! So much to choose from but we felt very rushed....the store closes at 7pm and it was 6 and the clerk received a call and said "I'll lock the door and come as soon as these customers leave" and then proceeds to "check on us" until we paid for the things we had picked out so far. I will go back but not for friendly service!

10/9/19- I saw a reply but then it went away.....Coco the dog was in the store!! Such a cutie! But forgive me if it were an emergency you could have said so but just on our end as customers and our 1st time there I will say you were super helpful and yes you did "check on us" by snatching the box out of my husbands hands and telling him "that's already on the racks" (which it wasn't) but after that call you were pretty much following us and we felt like you were just irritated by us being there and it felt like hurry up hurry up and if you had an emergency we would have understood completely as we have fur babies ourselves but thank you for replying and I hate that your bad day or time you were having with whatever situation spilled over on your customers. Coco & Lola's is an amazing hidden pearl in Midtown Memphis. Parker is friendly, helpful, and ready to tickle your funny bone at any given moment. Never one to focus on my under-clothes personality, I find myself drawn to try out the gorgeous and quality merchandise that no one will ever know I'm wearing. The jolt of confidence I experience when I try on one of the lingerie sets or bodysuits is all-consuming and instantly gratifying. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable about the different fits and encourages customers to take a leap and try something new.
