STEEPED IN HERITAGE AND FUN: the Southern Heritage Classic draws thousands of fans near and far on an annual basis. Tiger Lane is the place to be to enjoy the comradery, friendly rivals, food, music (live band challenges), and best of all the game....ah, the game! JSU and TSU are at it again. This rivalry goes back for quite some years yet the two together annually to bring their best and brightest to scramble on the field to give their diehard fans a show to remember and of course bragging rights goes to the victor. MORE THAN A PLACE TO TAILGATE: there is nothing like bringing a community together in a beautiful place as part of a shared goal/vision to fight against cancer and raise funds to find a cure: Making Strides Memphis asked and the good people of Memphis came out in a blended crowd of women, men, children and pets from various generations and cultures. One of the great things about a place like this is the centrality of the location extending along a mix use neighborhood with plenty of the beauty of the outdoors preserved. The crowd was enthused and engaged despite the rain...no, it didn't keep the committed away and the walk was a success!! ...

Enjoy directing people to where their parking passes allow them to park. Most Tiger Lane pass holders are extremely polite. And the people whom remember us Security Guards/Pass Checkers will happily being us food and drinks for doing our jobs helping everyone else and them find where to park around the Liberty Bowl Stadium. Remember we are there to assist everyone as polite and helpful as we can. We can only do what the Stadium Management policies only allows us to do to help everyone get to where they are told to park and tell them other safe spots on or around the property as polite as we can. Tiger Lane is one of the most under used spaces in the Memphis area. Mostly only used when there is a flea market or festival, but Tiger Lane is a beautiful mixture of a parking lot tailgating area and park. It has a gorgeous water fountain and every parking spot has a light pole behind it with built it electrical outlets!...
