I walked in there with my business attire on and 2 ladies, probably the owners, were behind the counter and did not acknowledge me at all. They were very involved in their conversation while speaking in their native language. As I was looking for some readers (eye glasses), I noticed I did not see any that were 1.50 vision. I decided to ask for some assistance and politely said, “excuse me” and asked did they have what I was looking for. Before I could even finish asking the question, the younger lady brushed me off and threw her hand as if to say “keep looking”. While I was extremely taken aback of her response, a European lady walked in and they politely greeted her! I then decided to leave, and not once did they say a word to me! It was as if my business did not matter. I just recently started patronizing them since Steinmart closed for accessories, and would choose not to travel that far to that unsafe area only to be treated unfairly! I’ll take my money elsewhere. I'm NOT HAPPY!!! I purchased earrings. Something happened and the cashier said it didn't not go thru. She ran my card again. I then asked if my card would be charged twice. She says, "NO!" I looked at my mobile app and it showed one transaction. Five minutes later, there were 2 transactions. I immediately, called to let her know, and she seemed as though she knew nothing of what I was talking about. She finally said it was my bank's problem. Bank said, "NO!" I called them back, told "ANNA" what the bank said. She said let me call the credit card company for a debit card and hung up in my face. She called me back and said, the credit card company will refund me, NOT HER!!! The credit card company's number was on the back of my receipt, I called them. They said it is left up to the merchant.
