Wife went with 3 friends for breakfast. Brought me takeout. Read my order to Stephanie & she got it wrong. I ordered eggs, smoked sausage, grits & side of white gravy. She read it from a paper in her hand. Stephanie says she didn't see any paper & that I didn't order smoked sausage. She also said wife didn't order white gravy. When I spoke to her to her she said wife didn't have a paper, nor did she order smoked sausage. Said she didn't know what she could do about it. Food was terrible. We didn’t complain. we just didn’t eat it. Sweet tea tasted old. The waitress acted offended when we didn’t want more tea, stating “I made this tea” The drum sticks were abnormally large and just tasted badly. The dressing smelled … badly. Just not right. And the northern beans were brown and dry with no liquid. The rolls tasted microwaved.

Husband and I went last night because we like to support local business. The owner is so nice and friendly and let us know he would cook anything on the menu for us fresh. We got fried fish, mashed potatoes and squash. Hubby likes to copy me and get what I get sometimes. 😂 The mashed potatoes were homemade and excellent. The fish was so good and hot.
