I applied for an corporate lease for an apartment. I was working with Heather. I was asking her how I go about by filing out the online application for the corporate lease because I wanted everything under my business name. I had already told her I don't want anything under my personal name she like just put your SSN in because I was telling her it's nowhere on the online application for me to put my EIN. Heather told me yes everything will be under your business name. She just rushing me to finish the application because someone was applying for the same apartment. Keep in mind I'm paying $400 dollars for the process. So, I finished my app she emailed me an stated that she had my application and that she will contact me when she hear something. Next morning I hear nothing from her. So, I emailed her asking have she heard anything? No reply back from her. So later that evening at 4:10pm I get an email saying just spoke with my boss she is reviewing the app now. Right after that I get an email saying denial. My app wasn't ran under my business EIN. It was under my SSN. I called the next day asked to talk to Heather. The lady who answered the phone was like can I get your name? told her my name she put me on hold came back to the phone said Heather is unavailable and she said the apartment you applied for is off the market someone applied for it already. She didn't ask well can I take a message or I will have Heather to call you back. I had to ask her can Heather give me a call back. I wouldn't even know how I would get my deposit back if I didn't call to see. After they get your money they doesn't care AT ALL! This is bad business. Heather still haven't gave me a call back nor replied to my email. I don't even never want to do business with this company after this! I feel like that apartment was giving to someone else all along. This is so unfair it's just money I lost when it's Heather fault that my EIN #...
Read moreI have lived here for the last 16 months and the experience has been sub par. Aside from a GREAT maintenance staff - I have not enjoyed my stay here. The property is poorly constructed. You can hear EVERYTHING happening outside in the parking lot and in your neighbors home. The floors are uneven when walking. There’s an odor that saturates your home randomly throughout the week. No amount of plugins or cleaning can rid your apartment of it.
The property is not as secure as they would lead you to believe. Residents are not able to book the community room for private usage and management says that community areas are not apart of our rent payment. Although they say it’s an amenity to make use of.
Management does not respect your privacy or confidential information. They post personal resident information on your door rather than in your mailbox or even giving you a call. I’ve come home many times to letterhead with my name and contact information sitting in the crack of my door.
Your packages are thrown in the mail area and you may or may not receive communication that the mail has arrived.
Management never answers the phone when you have a need but implement “policy” when beneficial for them. I submitted about 10 noise complaints before I ever received a response. Management is extremely inconsiderate of the resident. They rarely know what’s going on around the property. There have been many nights police have answered calls to car break ins and we do not receive any correspondence from the complex notifying every one of what has occurred on the property.

Read moreI’ve been living at Madison at McLean for some time now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best apartment communities in the area. From the moment I moved in, I’ve felt safe, comfortable, and truly at home.
Safety is clearly a priority here. The community is well-lit at night, and I’ve consistently seen staff and maintenance around, which adds to the sense of security. The building entry systems are reliable, and I’ve never had concerns about unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
When it comes to cleanliness, the staff does an excellent job. Common areas are always spotless—hallways, elevators, and the lobby are well-kept and regularly maintained. Trash is handled efficiently, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped, which makes daily walks or just coming home feel pleasant.
I especially want to recognize Caniya, the assistant property manager, who has been nothing short of outstanding. She is professional, kind, and always goes the extra mile to help residents. Whether it’s handling questions, resolving issues quickly, or just greeting you with a warm smile, she brings a personal touch that makes a real difference. You can tell she genuinely cares about the community and its residents.
