With caveats, this is not what I'd call a nice shopping center, but it's convenient. Save a lot employees are usually not happy, friendly, polite or outgoing, and one girl just stares at me and really doesn't say hello or anything. Another employee cut a 4" slit, sideways through her mask in the middle of pandemic year 2020 so that she looked like a muppet when she talked. I didn't take a photo, but I should have. Needless to say I went to the other cashier. The dollar tree is like all dollar trees, and they don't always wear masks, not that they have to now, but I mean they've never been very strict about it. Doesn't make me feel comfortable. Then again everything's a dollar so... The bottle shop, however. The employees are very nice and helpful. The owner packaged and brought the wine bottles, out to my car, he even opened my door for me. He went above and beyond and I was...

All of this, after wasting nearly 45 minutes if my time, when I notified her that I was working within a tight window of time. They are not considerate of the time of others, even when being notified of time restraints, and will withhold information when it should be given upfront. I DO NOT recommend them. If possible, wouldn't give them any...

There's the food desert of Save-A-Lot next to the liquor store next to the blood bank, next to the Cash Loans store next to the Dollar Tree next to a fell off the truck discount clothing store. Top it off with a couple of awful fast food chains and this whole place is offers the clearest view of what happens when we stop investing in healthy communities.
When I have to go here, I never leave feeling better than when I came. Ugh, I wish someone would raze the whole place and build some decent housing with an...
