Paid $3.1k. I have the receipt here in my hand. Man this is hard to type outāwhat happened to me. I asked for a JL w7 subwoofer and 1000watt JL amp in my g35 coupe. They put in a JL w6 woofer and itās old looking/used. This, from scouring Google images, is like a maybe 2014, at max, woofer. Anyone with sound audio knowledge Iāve shown this to is perplexed. (Go compare the price of those two) and the amp that I cannot fully see, but I can make out from the side of the amp under the seat, is NOT a JL amp. The āughh mane sheeit we gotta put in a custom boxā box was a universal box that they broke then put back together inside of the trunk. After shown this, totally makes sense. After the box was used for a little it collapsed under a little something called physics(a class that these installers would have not been able to take on high school) I saved up for years for this system. I feel robbed. I feel stupid for going here. Typical Memphis robbery. DO NOT go here. What a nightmare. Iām currently seeking an attorney. That kind of situation.
This pic attached is the w6 (asked for a w7) that has been idk 6th grade Memphis city school shop class(you know they donāt have that in MCS) _ rigged onto...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePart 2: I reviewed them after they installed my stereo and didnāt connect any accessories. They also left all my panels and trim in my passenger seat. The $500 radio they sold me resets every time I crank the car up and has no bass. I went to have an ac compressor installed and was informed that the radio had been installed at the expense of some of my ac components, including the one needed for programming the ac. The ac couldnāt understand why they had it the connectors. I was also shown all the connectors they hadnāt hooked up. The back of the radio looked like a ragged collection of cardboard duct tape and cut wire. Youāll probably spend more repairing what they mess up during installation than getting a decent professional installation from the start. They should fire every tech they have and hire gerbils. They would do...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI wanted a remote start for my car so I did some checking around to compare prices and places. An associate of mine recommended this Stereo One location. I called them and their price was in our price range. I took my car in at 11 am and they told that it'd be ready at 3 pm. The clerk was very nice and very professional. When I returned at 3, my car was ready and sitting out front. He walked me out to my car to show me how to use the remote and gave me the instruction manual and an extra fob. The young man I dealt with was mannerable, informative and polite. The Stereo One on Mendenhall had the best price and the best customer service that you could ask for. I will recommend this shop to anyone I encounter who needs a remote start, stereo installation, speakers mounted, window tint, etc. They...
