We give every business we go to a chance. And think carefully before tossing out a review. Upon our entrance to Washburns we were greeted by a sales person that wanted to show all their most impressive same color suits for living room. As we told him we were looking for a brighter color that wasnt the same as the regular dark furniture everyone had so he decided that he wanted to show us in to a $3200 couch and a $2300 love seat with a $1400 rotating chair... we have a budget much like alot of other folks out here!! So naturally we keep telling him we just want to look... the guy stayed about 20 feet away from us the most time trying to listening to our private discussions entailing what we might be thinking to a certain set of couches or sectionals we were looking at.
Pretty annoying not to be able to have a conversation and browse their very similar inventory as most of it was the same colors or cloth couches that dont match with the design of our home. I dont see us buying from here in the future as we found better deals in other parts of town.
After seeing the response from the owner and knowing how MY experience was in the store that he was not a part of as it was in FACT MY shopping experience that was being reviewed not an opportunity to allow for a well we never ever abuse our clientele should tell you all you would need to know from an owner of this caliber. It actually degrades this review of MY experience even more to have the "owner" try and tell me how my experience with his stalking staff was. I absolutely do not recommend this "local" business and would urge locals to go else where. The people in Little Rock were extremely pleasant and helpful, as opposed to rude...which is what I encountered at Washburns. For those of you reading my review, you'll notice I promptly received a reply from Washburns, trying to sound like a very family oriented small town business. They probably are. However, the facts still remain. They were rude, the did suggest I try shopping at PCDC for my furniture, or maybe a rent to own establishment. Their reply insinuates my statement "found the same living room for half the price in little rock" was not accurate. Sorry folks, but im not going to waste my efforts or time trying to justify my statements. Not for these people. By the way, this incident happened in 2018. I shopped at Washburns for a sofa/love seat. The one I liked was priced at $6700. I purchased the same style and manufacturer in Little Rock for $2995...3 months after Washburns suggested I shop elsewhere. Believe what you like. Better yet...go pay these wonderful people a visit and decide for yourself. As for my review on this business? I'm not trying to impress anyone. Read moreBought a hot tub from these folk. They talked up their business and their product during the sale to compete with another company. The product they delivered is not the best in quality in my opinion. Panels keep falling off, the top cover is cracking, and it’s ruined 2 breakers since it was installed less than two years ago. The business aspect they gave me isn’t any different than the product. They installed it the wrong direction and it’s not level. The stairs they brought isn’t very heavy duty either. Customer service wise, the same. They told me the product was a quality brand which it has been very problematic and it was difficult to set up an online account through the website. They wouldn’t even supply me with a copy of my contract when I asked many times for it. This review is based off of my experience and opinion with the company and the product I purchased. Do some extensive research before you buy anything. Word of mouth in person is the best way to figure out who to go with and what brands to buy. . UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS RESPONSE.. We did end up going to court over slow payment due to rough times. I admitted my fault in court and didn’t contest that I still owed it.
