beware of dishonest people / fraudulent billing practices.

the people running this flower shop also have a uhaul business here.

when i dropped off the rental this morning, the front door was locked even though the sign said "open". i knocked on the door, and when a somewhat unpleasant man answered the door who seemed like he didn't want to be bothered by customers. i asked him if i could get a receipt for the rental return (a normal business practice). he refused, and said to drop the keys in the drop off box.

i did that, and when the receipt came an hour later, the mileage out had been falsified in order to pad the charges. also, rental insurance, which i had declined, had been added. so, they had more than doubled the actual cost of the rental.

i know what the mileage out was, as i had taken a photo, and emailed it to myself, the email with the photo was timestamped by the google server as proof, at the time of the rental going out.

i've filed a complaint with uhaul, i'll see if they respond by tomorrow.

if not, i'll file a chargeback with the credit card company, and refer this business to the district attorney for fraudulent billing practices.

please shut this place down, uhaul, they are giving...
