Once a year WIC customers get $20 in vouchers to spend at the farmers market. This year it has been demonstrated that the farmers discriminate against WIC customers due to this fact: 1st stand I arrived at 4 small chillies $1, 4 shriveled cucumbers $1, shriveled egg plant 2 for a $1...2nd stand fruit resembling a plum small in size 2lbs for $2. 3rd stand ears of corn very small in size picked too early $1 each. Read moreIt's easy to get to and there's a good variety of things to choose from. The vendors are nice and there's plenty of room in between so you aren't going to get smashed in between people. I wish we had a couple more vendors and maybe a little more time, but the summers get too hot... I don't make it often but I try to get there early as some things go fast.
