Fraudulent practices! Clicked through FB ad for a botox special. Office staff is taking deposits for said appointments, yet nowhere is it disclosed via their website, their confirmation, their receipt for said deposit, OR FOLLOWUP TEXT that this deposit IS NOT refundable. The office staff offered a product in lieu of a refund, but after speaking with whomever handled the call, this was not of interest to me. Staff member claims that this is an error with the advertising agency for not disclosing it it is not refundable, and their business holds no liability in refunding this deposit, although it was the practice that collected my money, not said agency. She proceeded to argue with me and refused to accept accountability in the matter, and told me that if I wanted to find another provider for Botox at that price that I should go ahead and try that since I know so much about the healthcare field. I do not. But what I DO know is professional business practices, and if a Doctor's office is willing to argue and/or evade accountability for something as menial as a $50 deposit what does this speak to for their ethics? How many other consumers has this happened to, where monies were collected without disclosing that xxxx is not a refundable cost. Furthermore, in the ad, a deposit is not even mentioned, it is only mentioned during the follow-up scheduling call which could be considered classic bait and switch. The indignant behavior from whomever returned my call(the second call, in two weeks, mind you I had to make to receive a response)is simply unacceptable. I've made a claim with the FL Atty General as well as the Bureau of Consumer Protection....
Read moreI recently visited an open house event with island family health. It was Pico and Prosecco. In this event I learned about several cosmetic produces that can help with wrinkle reduction and sunspots. They have lots of options available. They also have a nice skin care line to help with your daily needs. Rania was extremely helpful at letting me know what was available that they offer. Dr Kanellopoulos was so helpful in answering all of my questions and helping me pick the procedure that best fit my needs. While there I had a procedure done that Nadia his aesthetician performed on me. She is super helpful and knowledgeable in skin care. After signing up for the Picosure I was able to contact Karson and easily set up my appts without hassle. When I came in the day of my procedure I filled out my paperwork and was able to get started right away. Rania was super helpful in explaining another procedure I was having and super helpful with expectations. Once I began the pico procedure Dr K set me up with an expectation of what I should expect from this laser. He has an amazing beside manner and very caring towards his patients. After the procedure they gave a detailed summary of what to expect and my responsibilities afterwards. Nadia came in and put the after gel stuff on me and gave me an awesome facial massage. I’m grateful for the experience that I received with this office and looking forward to...
Read moreI’ve been a patient here for several years. My experience over the last 2 months has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
Last month, I scheduled an annual check up appointment for today, October 18th. Last week on October 11th, I received an automated phone call, email, and text from the office explaining that Dr.Kanellopolous will “be exclusively signature MD concierge services”, that you have to sign up for his healthcare program to continue seeing him, and that any appointments have been cancelled. Why would they let me schedule an appointment knowing that it would be cancelled the following month?
I immediately called the office and received no answer. The automated system said to leave a voicemail and they would return my call within 24 hours. After 4 days with no response, I called and left another voicemail. To this day, I still have not received a call back. I am currently left without a PCP, my health records, and no...
