I write this with a heavy heart because I love both of these ladies but what happened is not ok. I have been seeing Megan and Sherri for haircuts for a few years now and never had a problem. I mentioned to Sherri that I wanted to go silver with dark roots and she said that Megan could and had done it for other clients before. I came in and Megan did my hair and what I left with was a weird lilac blonde with patches and streaks in what I can only describe as nicotine yellow. She assured me the color would correct with the purple shampoo. I was very unhappy with the color and showed a neighbor who is also a stylist and she was appalled at the color and condition of my hair. I have naturally curly hair and it will not curl or wave or anything. After dying it super dark to cover the awful color, multiple conditioning treatments, olaplex, and a small fortune in hair masks, I had to cut it all off… like the longest piece is 2” long. I am including pictures of me with my virgin hair, the color I asked for, the color I got, and the condition of my hair. The worst part is that I very respectfully and kindly let Sherri know what happened and I never even got an apology or acknowledgment that her daughter destroyed my hair. Only the offer of future conditioning treatments which are worthless because I had to cut it all off. Had I at least received an apology I probably wouldn’t be writing this review. If you look through the reviews, this isn’t the first time she’d done this. Unfortunately, I didn’t read them until after the fact. If Megan weren’t Sherri’s daughter I can’t imagine she would be allowed to keep doing...
Read moreWorst experience of my life! I went to Megan for a Balyage and ended up with a chemical cut. I couldn't get into my regular stylist in time for my daughters graduation, so I thought I would try someone else who could get me in. When I brought up my concerns with how damaged my hair was, she had every excuse to avoid taking accountability. She did, however offer weekly deep conditions to help rectify this issue as "complimentary" since they don't offer refunds. After the 1st deep condition, my hair got worse. I then seeked out several other professional opinions to which all three said my hair was overprocessed. I then kindly asked for a refund again as I am in a wedding beginning of July and I was going to have to get my hair fixed by my regular stylist. Megan argued that she is honest with all of her clients and that she didnt have a concern at the time of service as she continued to blame me for what had happened to my hair and ended our conversation with "I wish you well". Although, I am upset at the fact that I spent over $270.00 for something that I ended up having to cut off anyway due to how chemically damaged it was, I am more appalled at the fact that she couldn't take responsibility for her MISTAKE. I've never encountered someone so arrogant and incapable of accepting responsibility in this profession. This may not have ever happened before with any other client of hers, but she certainly is responsible for the...
Read moreMy daughter & I had our 1st appts. with Wanda a couple of weeks ago. She did an great job on her hair (short bob) but used a razor to layer my long hair. After getting home I notice that one side was barely touched and needed more layers. I msg her to let her know, she agreed to fix it however we are going on week 3 and I've msg her several times asking when she can squeeze me in and so far I've gotten the cold shoulder. No attempts on her own to msg me with any availability. I will not be going back to her unfortunately and have scheduled an appt with someone else at a different salon to...
