Thai Food Corner — Restaurant in Mesa

Disclaimer: I usually review places after I’ve been there a few or more times, because it just doesn’t seem like a fair review if it was my first time, because no business is 100% perfect and I may have gone on a “off” night or something out of the ordinary for the business. In saying that, I have dined in and I’ve ordered take out from Thai Corner about six times. 5/6 times it was a bad experience! Most of the time Customer service is less than stellar and training would benefit them greatly! On this occasion- the food tasted stale, as if it was cooked- got cold and then put into an airfryer for 5 mins then served. (You can tell when something has been reheated vs served fresh. The appetizer was missing the garnishment that is meant to be eaten with it, and the sauce (which is served hot) must have just been pulled out of the fridge before going in the bag. This is such a hard review to leave. I’ve eaten here about 2-3 times a month. I always get takeout, the food is almost always amazing today. The staff are all friendly too.

I’m writing this after just having a weird experience, I ordered the Beef Udorn Noodles. I don’t have a peanut allergy, I don’t have a spice allergy. I do have a duck meat allergy however. I found an odd meat in my food, it almost looked like a meatball but was way too light to be it.

I didn’t eat much of the dish and avoided the weird meat in it before I threw it out. About 10 minutes later I had an allergic reaction. I didn’t know it was duck, I didn’t ask for duck, but I had an issue due to the duck.

Thai Food Corner is our favorite place to eat! Our go-to and our favorite to recommend. The food is absolutely delicious! We have tried the many curries, pad tai, soups, and appetizers and all tase authentic, have a great choice of heat (spice), and the ingredients seem fresh and the quality is incredible. Portions are great and we always have leftovers. Dare I add that when reheating the leftovers it always tastes just as good or better. We have ordered online and both ordering and pickup are easy and seamless. Our order is always correct. They have a lot gluten free options as well! Menu is very customizable. Eating here never feels heavy or makes you feel over indulged after eating like some Thai and Chinese foods can. My young kids love the coconut curry chicken and eat it better than...
