Worst customer service I've experienced in the great state of AZ, having been to many pools, as an avid lap swimmer.

On a Saturday, a desk attendant named Rachel, who I later learned falsely claimed to be the "supervisor," decided to bar me from the pool with 4 lane openings available. I asked other desk attendants and guards at Kino and they all said it makes no sense. The background: there were 30 minutes left for lap swim on Saturday, and whoever reserved the lanes online was not showing up. I swim there every day and this was never a problem with anyone else. The reservation policy on Saturday's doesn't really work to begin with, but if they don't show up, others are allowed to wait and get in, if there's space available. So if everything is reserved, I wait. Last Saturday, four slots were open in the water, with 30 minutes left, and a lady named Rachel was forbidding me from lap swim, claiming to be the supervisor, when I have paid a membership like everyone else. No other guard or desk attendant has ever treated me with such rudeness and unkindness. I'm actually afraid to go there this Saturday because I don't want to run into that person again. Maybe I'll go to a pool further away instead to avoid the worst service...

Went to swim today and work with my kids on different types of swim techniques and lap swim. 10 min after I've paid the manager comes and tells me that My kids have to be over 13 years old to swim in the lap lanes. How can I teach my kids to swim in 4 feet of water with more than 15 people in the water that's essentially a community bath tub. Companies shouldn't take people's money and them restrict them from full usage of the facility. Why would a aquatic center discriminate against children under 13. Then these little brown children of mine look over in the lap swim over from ours and clearly see all the white children swimming that are under 13 years old. 🤷 So, now in their heads you have discriminated against their color and age. Very clean and accomodating to all age groups and skill levels. They have 3 pools available including a kiddy pool, 4.5 foot deep swimming pool, and a diving pool with 3 various heights to conquer, as well as a water slide (minimum height requirement).
