Do not go here if you don’t have naturally straight hair. I am traveling from out of state and found a Groupon online. I booked my appointment and should have know then not to come. But because I’m not from here and all I wanted was a cut, wash, deep condition, and style, I took my chances. as soon as I walked in the door the stylist was visible upset at my presence. I have relaxed hair and just needed a cut, wash, style. She told me that Groupon would only pay her half of what I paid and that her time was worth more. She told me she would only cut and wash, leaving me to blow dry and style, because to do the rest costs more, and eventually told me to go to an African American stylist. She also said a previous stylist put the deal up on Groupon and that she didn’t know how to remove it. before I could even offer to be flexible, which I said a cut and wash is fine, she became very irritated and angry with me. She said ask any AA stylist how much they charge and it’s more than “$28.” Which I’m well aware of. But being in travel status I was looking for a deal to just keep my hair clean. I have relaxed hair so my hair is not as ”kinky” as others. But there was no hair assessment before she refused to serve me. I get being upset about the cut from Groupon, but to take all that out on me and basically refuse to serve me because of my “AA” hair is disgusting!! Yes a business has a right to refuse service but should do so in a way that it Matches that persons energy and reasoning. A simple (example), “I would like to ensure you have a great experience with us, but I don’t think I’m qualified to complete your style request.” would have worked. I have had stylist of all backgrounds. Never once has one refused to serve me because of my hair or Groupon. I left the salon stunned...

These reviews are full of it. They probably know her personally. My hair was down to my lower back before I went in. I asked for long layers and a bit of framing. Now my hair is short layers with the end my hair just an inch or two below my shoulder. Not at all what I asked for. She was great with conversation and styled my hair for free. Probay to hide the junk of a job she did. I question if she even has a license. Also, I was exactly on time. There were no other customers there. I had to wait for this lady to clean her station for a few minutes.. Which did not register with me at first. No one was there. What took so long to sweep...

This is the second time I've been to this play, both times I come out devastated.
