My cousin and I were shopping here May 3, 2024 at around 8:30pm; we had a horrible experience due to the store manager Dee racially profiling us. She was so rude and nasty to us which was disappointing bc we love the store Miss A. She started by acting like she was sweeping the floor & said something to us about opening the testers for the foundation and liquid lipsticks. The testers were already opened prior to us being there in which she stated she knew about. Okay so if she knew they were already open, why did she open her mouth to tell us not to open them? To add insult to injury, she stood behind us for an additional 10 whole minutes w/ a broom in her hand staring directly at us like we were going to steal something. The products we were looking at couldnāt have been more than $3. I did confront her & said, āI donāt appreciate being profiled & that i will be leaving a review and writing corporate for my poor customer experience.ā She replied back & said āIām just waiting to sweep the floor in the spot youāre standing atāā¦. As if she couldnāt find another task to do while we shopped for our items. She stood there to solely watch us because she racially profiled us. I dropped my shopping cart that was full of items on my way out and left the store because I refuse to spend my money where Iām not welcomed. Dee needs serious training on how to treat customers that keep the doors open, actually, she needs to be terminated. Being a manager acting this way is insane. I will be calling corporate & letting them know about this poor customer experience!
UPDATE: the owner of the Town East location has responded back via google review thread & did not take any accountability for our poor customer service experience that was provided by Dee, the store manager. Instead, they justified why Dee racially profiled us & further stated that Dee insured we didnāt have to pay for items on the shelves that were already opened. My poor customer service experience was invalidated. We will no longer be patronizing this business! As a small business owner, I would be horrified to know one of my employees treated a paying customer this way. The doors will not be open for long if this is the customer service experience provided by Dee is not addressed & taken seriously. If you are black, I encourage you not to support this business. Black dollars should not fund businesses that look at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a great store to shop in cannot beat the process :-) however I was appalled at the amount of shoplifting that I observed, for the store sake I would think that they would want to have either insight security or undercover security however you want to do it but I watch a ton of their product walking out the door and a matter of 30 minutes. And I believe if your store is going to be that crowded you're going to have to limit, I believe that's a fire hazard to the point people are pushing and shoving and jabbing I thought I was going to have to fist fight my way out of there. The store it's product the people are great You must do something about the masses and the mass amount of your product walking out the door or the store is going to end up losing so much it's got to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI took my 9 year old granddaughter to Miss A today and we had a great time. When we were at the cashierās there was a sign in front of the cash register stating that the paper receipt machine was broken, our total was $55.83 and I was shocked because I didnāt feel like we had $55 worth of items. I asked if the receipt machine was really broken and the cashier told me it was. Only one cash register was open so I am not clear if they used the other register if they could have provided a receipt. When we got home I counted our items and the total should have been about $35.00. I think the cashier purposely over charged me but I have no proof since I didnāt get a receipt. As much as my granddaughters love Miss A, I will not be taking them...
