I legit hate selling at this store at times. At least the past few years because when they first opened the store the first two years it was not like this. The few times I’ve come to sell they end up giving everything back to me that was what they were looking for. For example: Today, I took a basket in with stuff that was new and and unused and about 6 items that were used and had a bit of wear since it was workout clothes. I also have a friend of mine who works for Plato’s that said they would be things they would buy because it’s things they were currently taking in store so I went ahead and took a basket after some convincing as my friend knows I no longer sell clothes to Plato’s. I watched the girl do the whole process which by the way took 5 minutes, from the moment they checked me in to the moment they checked me out. She didn’t even look at my clothes!!! She just grabbed a small handful of the top part and looked at my Gymshark leggings and decided to buy those. When she noticed that I had been watching her the whole time she pretended to look at the rest of my clothes by shoving her arm as far as it could go into the basket, proceeded to lift the clothes and then push everything back down to make it look like she had checked everything. I was shook and I just stared at her. I have a natural RB face so I know she knew I was bothered by what she did. She then sent me the text saying they had finished looking at my clothes and walked off. When I went to the counter she tried to have someone else check me out and I said “no you can check me out after all you can tell me why you didn’t look at the rest of the clothes or why you pretend to do your job” she completely ignored me and said we could only take a few items and said they would give me $14 for the four items that were more worn out then the brand new stuff that had tags on them. I looked at her like she was the dumbest person on watch for thinking I’d just forget what she did. I’m pregnant so I can say I wanted to tell her off but I’m to damn grown to argue with a child. I told her to just give me the money and I’d be leaving since I’ve come to dislike coming to Plato’s because of employees like her. Most people that do put bad review are telling the truth because I’ve experienced it first hand. Been going here on and off for about 3 years. The girls inside are very friendly. I wanted to sell some name brand clothing i'm no longer wearing. Was told it would be a good 30 minute wait and was giving the option to wait in store or I can leave and they'll alert me from my phone when my stuff is ready for pick up. I decided to look around while waiting.

The Store I gave it 5 stars for how clean it was. I've been into many different Plato's in different states and this one was well kept up with. It isn't however a very big location.

condition of clothing/shoes I gave it 3 stars There is alot to choose from! I did however notice some stuff the staff were buying from people was very dirty. My first thought was to look at the shoes. I found a pair of Converse for a fair price but the inside was brown and the bottom was covered in dirt. While looking at the shirts I found a Zine shirt from Zumiez. Was going to buy it if it wasn't for the huge hole on the back. I tried on a Vans shirt size small but it was shrunk so did not buy. There was another white shirt I saw with a bright pink stain on it. Just make sure you double check before buying a item that it is free of damage!

Brands. They seem to mostly take VS Pink, Aeropostale, Rue 21, American Eagle Outfitters, Bullhead and Michael Kors. I tried selling a brand new pair of Victoria Secret sweatpants I ordered online but sadly they were too big on me and they did not take them. Maybe because it wasn't VS Pink? Come to think of it I only saw Pink not Victoria Secret in the whole store.

The price tags were marked fairly and nothing from what I saw was over priced. I however did find a Fox Racing plaid shirt for $8 but it was the only thing of Fox I saw which was kind of upsetting.

Style They mostly sell the brands I listed so if your style is more alternitive you won't find a whole lot to choose from at this location. I like Hurley, Bullhead, Fox Racing, Volcom. Only found so little of these brands but more than 10 VS Pink shirts. Not much skate urban stuff is sold here.

They picked out only 4 of my clothing 2 name brand shirts and 2 name brand jeans. One was new with tags and it said on the tag $22.50. For 4 items I was giving $9 but I took it. So each item was no more than $2.25.. Kinda like the Gamestop of clothing it's...

I went here and we spent quite a bit of time looking at the clothing and during the checkout process, the people at the counter lost the sale. They asked me for my phone number and other information, and I declined to give it to them. They said they could not sell me anything without getting my information so I walked out. That was a pretty stupid thing for employees to do, hopefully the store manager will educate them on how to not lose a sale. I did inform them that I would not be returning the clothing, if we did not end up liking the clothing, I always give my clothing to the Goodwill or other shelter places. I never return clothes. I have successfully cleared out any unwanted emails addresses and blocked multiple numbers from advertisements, it’s ridiculous that I can’t purchase something without being asked for my number so that I can consent to advertisements in the future. We were in Dallas from out of town and I had gone to about 10 different stores as well as a few stores in the mall prior to this one and each time they ask for my information I declined and afterwards they took my money. I’ve never encountered a store that refused to take my money. It would be interesting for the owner to find out exactly how much money they are losing because this girl chooses who she thinks can purchase items at the store, I’m pretty sure she did not own the store and I’d be surprised if the owner gave her independent decision making ability as to whether or not she can accept money from people and...
