Went in to pick up a birthday cake and a very noticeable smudge in the icing as if someone swiped their finger through. If we were not taking pictures with the cake in it, we would have surely not asked for a redo. Upon addressed the so called smudge (about a 1 inch gap I might add), I get the blank stare with her and her coworkers as if it wasnt a big deal. She immediately tells me there may be a wait and storms to the back as if I am the problem. I paid $40 for this cake and I wanted it done right. She comes back and says it will be a 15 min wait for something that could have just been filled in quickly with icing. The whole cake had to be redone? I took the cake as is and FIXED IT AT HOME! No I am sorry we messed up, no let me see what I can do to get it done quicker, no discount for the inconvenience, just treated like I was the problem because I was unhappy. I even bought 3 bundtlets while I was there to pick up and you think something there would have been accommodated? NOPE! And just to be clear, I get the cake home only for my non picky husband to immediately notice it without telling him what happened. So even though it didn't matter to you, it mattered to this customer. We use Nothing Bundt cakes for every occasion including all birthdays, baby showers and just because events because we love their cakes. We will not be back at this location.......save yourself the trouble and time for feeling "less...
Read moreI went to this location on Wednesday 10/23 to purchase a cake after seeing they didnât have any 8 in cakes on display I placed an order for Saturday 10/25. I debated if I should place the order for 6pm or 6:30pm in which the worker said âIâll put the pick up time for 6pm but even if you come after that time weâll just place it in the cooler for youâ . I said that was great and went ahead and placed the order which she grabbed my first name and phone number. I arrive on Saturday around 6:20pm and I find out theyâre closed on their hours it said they closed at 6pm which is my fault for not looking sooner. However if they closed at 6pm why would they let me place an order for 6 and tell me I could even come in later to pick it up. I go today 10/26 to pick it up expecting it to be ready since I placed it the day before. After telling them I had an order to pick up I tell them my name show the receipt and they asked if I placed it under a different name which I said I didnât. They tell me they donât have the order which I was confused on the receipt it says I placed an order and yet itâs not there? They told me again they didnât gave it however as a courtesy they would get me one. Iâm disappointed with this service Iâm glad they gave me a new cake however Iâm confused on why they would tell me I could pick it up when theyâre closed...
Read moreSo, on 7/2 my birthday I pulled up to this establishment at approximately 6:59 p.m. I couldnât see the hours posted as the signage it quite small on door. A young lady saw me pulled up and I mouthed to her âare you guys closedâ we made eye contact she looked away. Went to grab the door keys, walked to the door and assured the door was locked. Proceeded to walk back to the counter flip the switch for lights off and then go to the back of the storefront. I found this very distasteful as we made contact. It wouldâve been appreciated and professional if she wouldâve just said sorry were closed or at least acknowledged me in some way. Never know who I could be. With this experience I will not be utilizing this establishment for anything dealing with cakes or even great customer service. If your employee can act as such without customer service, but eye contact, and such abruptness to ensure the door is locked. I donât need to patronize such establishment. You just really missed a grand opportunity! Thank your closing employee on 7/2 @ 6:59 p.m. I understand closing times, trust me I do but I wouldnât have ever not make communication with a customer even if it was just to say...
