First and foremost this Badcock establishment deserves ZERO stars. I will advise anyone to stay far away!!! My father is a manager at Badcock in Mulberry, Fl for 25years. These people are not affiliated with them and their products are of very poor quality. I purchased a bed set and metal bed railing and the metal railing recently broke. Let's keep in mind I'm 5'10 and 180Ibs. I called customer service (very rude and unprofessional) and they replaced it. Not even a month later!! Two legs of the metal railing bent and I had to take the rails off and place my (new) bed on the FLOOR!! I called customer service once again!!! I spoke to Maria and she said they couldn't replace it again or give me a different brand. Instead....she said she'll give a 50% discount on the rail. The rail is $59.99. So basically she will give me $30 credit to buy ANOTHER rail of poor quality or whatever in store I want PLUS I would have to pay delivery fee $40. So I'm not getting reimbursed or getting a credit to my existing account. Only receive a $30 credit "IF" I buy something else from them! I immediately called South Fl corporate once again!!! I spoke to "John Torres" the customer service Manager. He said Maria was doing me a favor since they're only suppose to give a 25% credit. Yet again, no compassion and was a true a**hole. If I would've purchased the same products from Mulberry where I'm from I wouldn't have this problem and customer service is completely different compared to these incompetent heartless individual's. I even spoke to a manager from there and they said they would've gave me money back or gave me a better quality one free of charge. But unfortunately this establishment is the sister company. Garbage!!!! Not to mention I bought a dresser draw chest from them prior to this happening BIG MISTAKE!! within the same week the knob fell off and I couldn't open it to get my daughter's clothes out. And I had to call their garbage customer service. Save your money and time!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!! Unless you want Lego pieces as furniture lol everything falls apart. Read moreBAD EXPERIENCE ALL AROUND I advise my Hubby to purchase furniture here due to Covid we were trying to use as little of our liquid resources, as possible. What a HUGE!!! MISTAKE. First allow me to say I have purchased furniture from this same store many years ago (10-12 years ago) and the Furniture was very nice and the service was also exceptional. However, lets fast forward to Oct 2020. Our salesperson Tammy was very sweet and helpful (so nothing against her) However, when the furniture was delivered it had a TERRIBLE FOUL SMELL and we requested to return it. This was 1month ago and my husband is still trying to get back the portion of his deposit that he is owed. Although, he paid with a credit card $340 down, he was told his refund would only be $54 and they would mail it to him in a check (I mean a check who does that in 2020) I have called their corporate office FOUR times to no avail. I guess they needed the money more than we did. PLEASE read their contract CAREFULLY they said he was charge 20% of the total cost as a restocking fee. His statement says merchandise return $852 and of course you don't get back the $79.95 delivery fee. I'm not an accountant, but how does this account to $54. Read moreAvoid this store and company. DO NOT PAY ANY FURNITURE FROM THEM , PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. My mother purchased a dinner room set and scheduled for delivery the following week. She waited for the FURNITURE to come she even called for updates. She was took the FURNITURE is coming they are just running behind. Finally after waiting all day approximately 8pm the delivery driver calls to say he was in a car accident. My mom was understanding and ask to be the 1st delivery for the following day. His reply you have to call the office. She calls the office the next day to be told she would have to WAIT ANOTHER WEEK FOR DELIVERY. WHAT? Based on how this situation was handled she decided to cancel the purchase and request a refund of her money back. This was in May 2020 and as I'm writing thus review she still has not received her refund. The manager Carlos and his staff needs to have a REAL training on customer service and how to look up and account in their system to check the true status of a refund instead of just saying anything to get the customer off the phone when calling for an update on the status of their refund .
