Salon Glenda's — Local services in Miami

I called on Tuesday May 18th to book an appointment for Friday May 21 with Glenda. The lady that answered the phone said they had availability in the morning around 10 am. I asked that I wanted my hair to be done by Glenda and she assured me she would be the one doing my hair. Then she asked what service I wanted done and I told her I wanted some baby lights. And she went ahead and booked the appointment. On Friday I get there at 9:23 am and I see there’s other three ladies at the salon. I get asked how I had my appointment with to what I answered that it was with Glenda. At the end I had three ladies doing my hair, Glenda, Brenda and another lady with glasses. Glenda had overbooked the morning with other two clients and was just directing Brenda on how to do my hair and what formula to use. Conclusion, conclusion, Glenda never actually didn’t my hair and my hair came out damage and I had two shades of blonde. Brenda actually broke my hair and damage my hair as she dyed lower than she was supposed to. My advise is that is you actually want to book an appointment at this salon and you’re a new customer( like I was) please ensure they don’t treat you the way I was treated and you are provided the service you request with the hair dresser you request. I felt like I wasn’t noticed by Glenda. At the end she just cares about money and charging and overbooking people regardless of her availability. She goes to show that she doesn’t care about clients specially new clients like me. I’m new to Florida, I’m from California and I got recommended to Glenda by one of my family members. I have been going to this facility for several months because Monica who has been doing my facials for over a year is now working at this salon. This salon is centrally located close to South Miami, Coconut Grove, Little Havana, Key Biscayne, etc... The facility is a renovated old family house. The interior is very nicely decorated, and although small, they have made good use of the space. The staff has been super friendly and kind to me, and the whole vibe is very nice.

I have noticed that they are a full service salon with a nail station, hair station and Monica who does AMAZING facials with state of the art equipment. I highly recommend her. My skin has never looks more radiant!

This place is amazing. This is the second time I go to this salon and I don't intend to stop for a very long time. I went there desperate after I got some bad highlights done. I had like 5 different colors on my hair and I just had to take the risk. I was pleasantly surprised with what I found . Not only they have a great customer service, they tell you exactly what you need and they are not trying to take advantage of you to make money. They know what they are doing, they know the latest techniques and their main goal is to protect your hair and make you look your best. To top it off the energy at this place is wow 🤩.
